yeah... I know... because there was some spaces in your mods, I just saw it when I put it into my MS word.
The best thing is, when you get the mods, copy it into your word (or other word prog if you have a mac)... then you can see if there were some spaces between (if yes, close the spaces)... then you can copy and paste it clean into your calculator and you'll have no probs with the codes

Can someone help me out as well? I've got the program up and running. I've gotten the Message ID and I have input the Start Key, Target, and Characters (they were A-F, so I used 6). I've clicked on Solve, and nothing happens.

If it helps, I've got this:
Key: FEDADAAC
Target: FFDCBBED
Chars: 6

And I do have the Triple button selected.

@Duckypoo: check that there are no spaces between... then check if its not an incomplete message, if yes, go to the next "complete" one and try again.

@ Nanny... you got mail...

No spaces that I can tell of...And I don't see near the bottom where is says Incomplete Message. I pulled up other messages to double check and those others say Incomplete.

I copied the code directly into Notepad, then copied each item and pasted them into the program.

@ Ducky: all you need is to put in your Key, then your target, the nuber 6 or 7 you need and theeeeeeeeeen (this is important!) put ALL the mods into the modifier list... click solve... taddddaaaa
then you must see some numbers in your output

ALL 30 mods at the same time *grin*

I get the program to work. I input everything and I eventually get a long list of outputs.

I get something like
19-17-30
30-17-19
25-26-7
7-26-25
etc.

But NONE of the combinations work. And if order doesn't matter, why am I getting different permutations of the same three numbers? Help anyone? blink.gif

And in case if it matters, I let V = A, X = B, C = C, S = D, T = E, and 8=F.

Am I supposed to be logged onto my NP account? Do I have to do something with the message ID? I don't see a textbox to put it in anywhere...

Hmm I figured it had to do something with the game ID number. What do I exactly have to do? I've read SOOOO many of the pages on this thread and others but I don't think I've seen what I have to do with the Id number exactly?

Hi Nanny, I tried using my decoder as well, and I get no output data either, maybe it needs to be re-downloaded? Try that....

Sighs! Thank you for putting up with me. Everything works now. My deepest thanks and complemets to the site admis and the programer who created this tool.

Here's a tip. Copy and paste the code you get into note pad or word pad. Then seperate the key code, target and the mods ect. I found this trick makes copying the data into the decoder MUCH easier. hehe I was copying and pasting some of the info at the end of the mods. That's why I was getting the run time error 9 message

sandman, you need to put that message id into this
http://www.neopets.c..._data.phtml?id=
in your browser
that will give you your key and target letters
then put that into the decoder

I disabled my firewall, but the decoder still won't work. The checking thing comes up, and after I put in my user and password, at the bottom, it says Logged in, Verifying Program 0. After that, two messages pop up and says error. The first one is Run-time error '40006'
Wrong protocol or connection state for the requested transaction or request. The second one says Codex Check Module Version: 3.1.4.0
DLL Set-up Error -RunCodexCheck- 440 - Automation error.

I tried disabling my firewall, but it still won't work. sad.gif
