My allergies are outside. Trees and grass. Sucks for me huh? I have to live with allergies every single day. I just always get congested.

Oh true? Mmm I get a bit of hayfever, but nothing that bad. John has hayfever for over 6 months of the year. Has to take these really strong anti-histamines too sad.gif

I'd hate to have hatfever. Ugh sneezing all the time. crybaby.gif

Unfortunately allergies have run in my family for some time... the only reason I don't look forward to having kids is because of the allergies/intolerances John and I will pass down.

Anyone else have any allergies? Are they major/deathly or just a huge pain in the ass like mine are. I tend to get rashes, migraines and my asthmatic cough is triggered.

Ya, I don't think I'm going to have kids either, if I do get married I'll adopt as thanks to bad genes pimples, baldness, cancer and shortness runs in the family (luckily pimples aren't that bad and I'm not short. Though I wouldn't be suprised if I go bald in 30 years and get cancer 15 years afterwards).

No allergies though, my mom tried to convice me I'm alergic to pollen I think, not sure why. Alot of my family members are like that, they convince themselves they're allergic to something or lactose intolerant or have constant headaches. Kinda sad how they make themselves reliant on pain killers and anti-allergens (is that what they're called? Might be confusing it with something)

Woah, gotta tone down this font
There we go

A lot of you are probably allergic to wheat and milk and don't realize it. So many people are; it's a shame.

I'm allergic to wheat, gluten, ammoxicillin (sp?), and various things outside. I'm sure there's a lot of little odd ones as well but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

What effects would you have? I can drink milk fine and not notice anything.

Nothing too noticeable for the foods. Ammoxicillin I swell up and get close to dying though thumbsup.gif

Wheat and gluten just weaken my immune system. That's basically what an allergy is. You don't have to like break out in hives or start sneezing a ridiculous amount to be allergic to something. An allergy can easily go unnoticed externally and manifest itself in different ways. For example, if you find yourself getting tired after eating a certain food -- unless of course you ate too much -- chances are you're allergic.

I honestly couldn't tell you the effects I get from eating wheat or gluten. It's been about 2-3 months that I've been off them and all I can tell you is that I feel much better now than I am.

I get ulcers alot in my mouth, but they always come at night time, and early morning. It's weird.

Bug bites swell up more on me than on most people.
Like the worst I've had is spider bites and yellow jacket stings.
And after hurricane Katrina, many ants decided to attack and bite my eyelid, so
I looked like Quasimodo....

And I am beginning to think I may be a little lactose intolerant... Seems like every
time I eat ice cream I get mildly nauseated. No throwing up, just queasy feelings.
And besides an occasional cheese and ice cream, I don't eat many dairy products.
I don't know, maybe it's nothing.

Do you brush your teeth in the morning and at night? If so it could be toothpaste.
Vitamins morning // night? If so it could be them.

Just quick guesses. Hard to diagnose over the intrawebz.

Yeah true. I brush my teeth, but don't get vitamins.

It might also be mouthwash, because it stings when I use it.

That's probably the mouthwash killing stuff (good and bad) in your mouth. I'd say stop using it for a week (you're breath won't smell that bad.) and see if the ulcers go away. Also, did you have anything major done on your mouth in the past?

If any other part of your mouth was affected from the surgery they could also be coming from that. I'd say stay away from the mouthwash for a week and tell us what happens.

I just have pollen allergies. When I was young, everyone was allergic to something and so I thought it was cool to be allergic to stuff so I would make up things I'm allergic to...

I hate allergies...that wasn't one of my finer moments tongue.gif.

I just get these random bouts of sneezing sometimes. I think it might be the city air though, because when I went back home it went away. tongue.gif

You don't want to be around me in the spring when I haven't taken my allergy medicine tongue.gif. I don't have a good day if that ever happens. It's bad...real bad tongue.gif.

I'm allergic to pretty much everything in the outside world. Grass, pollen, etc.

Guess that's why I prefer to hole myself up in my bedroom. Much better than walking outside and getting a rash or sneezing every two seconds. D:

I'm allergic to penicillin and some Indian spice my mom used in our dinner once.
