So I went rollerblading last night... for like the first time in FOREVER.
I had so much fun. And now I'm uber sore. >.<
My experience:

My sister was recording. She turned the camera sideways for reasons unknown. >.<
&& it was kind of dark in there. Sigh.

ZOMG. What faces! O.O

Wooooooo.

Anyone else like to rollerblade/rollerskate? I love it!

I used to be an avid roller skater. The skating rink was where the party was at. haha.

It's fun to do now and then. I remember I went rollerblading stoned one time, I couldnt go much without falling, and if I wasnt falling i was just standing idly going "WOAH! HOW DO THEY DO THAT?"

Yeah I felt so damn OLLLLLD when I got out there. Because I used to go to the SAME place when I was a kid.
Weird... remembering a place from when you were a kid, and you still go there.. weird feeling.

I almost hit a bunch of people. But didn't. Damn. Someone hit me though, as I was going backwards, and
I went to turn around and lost mah balance and fell. Yeah. Seems like it'd be the other way around and I would have
hit THEM. But no.

Yeah it brought back a LOT of memories. But I haven't changed a bit when it comes to stuff like that. hehehe.

Every friday in second grade we would take our skates to school and skate during the end of the day all over the playground. Those who had roller blades and could use them well were the cool kids and those who were still stuck in the last decade with roller skates were not. Such fond memories sad.gif.

I haven't been skating in a very long time ... I should find where my skates are and go do that again.

I did go ice skating with some friends once ... I thought it was just like roller blading and so I attempted it as it was just like that. Seemed to work fine for me tongue.gif. Didn't fall down a single time. I don't know how the professionals do it though ... they make those skates look so light. They aren't blink.gif.

I can't ice skate well AT ALL. Though I have been only once. Seems like I couldn't get myself to go, I kind of just hung onto the rail. I think ice skates make your ankles go OUT instead of in like rollerblades.

I'm so afraid to ice or roller skate again. D:

I mean, I haven't done them in SO LONG. And since then, I broke my ankle and it's now notoriously weaker than the other. D:

I'd probably spent the whole time flat on my ass. XD

I think that's the important part though. The first moments, if you grab the side then it will be harder than if you just go out there...that's just what I think though tongue.gif.

I remember rollerblading back in fifth and sixth grade. tongue.gif
They'd have a bus that would go on Thursdays after school and you could rollerblade/skate all night for four dollars.
It was great fun, but eventually the place went out of business and it's a small dollar store now. ):

We have a similar place around here that also went out of business. I guess collective rollerblading on a Friday night is a thing of the past sad.gif. Now we go to arcades to play DDR biggrin.gif.

We don't have any arcades with DDR here, the closest to it is one in the paintball arena that has a Pump It Up! game, which... Doesn't compare.

I've got to rely on my Xbox for any DDR. tongue.gif

This place has been in business for as long as I can remember. It's old as hell, but it's still really fun and only 5 dollars. Sure, it may be something mostly smaller kids do, but I still enjoy it. Not to mention I got SO much exercise and my legs STILL hurt.
Lawls. One of my friends runs the place now, and he's talking about remodeling it. >.< It's going to be tough because it needs a LOT of work.

DDR isn't lame... its great i first played it in was in the mall then when I turned 19 I joined the gym and pretty much went to the gym everyday so I could play it along with the treadmill.. but now I own it and its great ....except if you try something thats to fast and end up loosing balance and falling into the coffee table XD
