I've always pretty much sucked at Neopets in this respect. I've gotten up to 214k from just playing games but I can only get about 20k a day from games and that takes me quite a bit of time and a fair bit of effort really. So I was sort of hoping I'd have enough money to start being able to do something else that might get a bigger turnover. Anyone got any suggestions? Baring in mind I'm not expecting to make money stupidly quick or anything...just slightly faster then I am currently tongue.gif.

sponser links and get to know the stock market. When I have the opportunity to play games I may make 30-100k from them but that is once in a great while. Stocks and sponser links net me an average of 30k a day. Restocking just from the igloo nets me average of 20k profit a day. If your acct is over 3 months you can RS(restock) r95 items and above. Those items can net a user an easy mil a day if they know what they are doing.....all of this can be done legitly.

Yeah my account is 7 months old now so it's old enough to do everything I think...I hope anyways tongue.gif. (I've been inactive for about ...6 months of those 7, hence such a low amount of money)

Anyway, mind telling me a bit more about the r95 items? People always go on about them but I don't even know how to recognise them when they pop up or anything, is it just about memorising a list?

And thanks for the tip on the stock market, I might go check into that biggrin.gif.

here is a daily guide that is quite popular you may want to look at

http://www.neopets.c...ophilusllicorne

about the r95+ listed items to be honest other members would have much more information on this that I. These are generally the most valuable items to occur in shops some are as rare as only 2 stocking a month tmk. Competition for these items is very high due to low demand and incredible np turn over ratio. >.< Icy's gonna make it harder to do legitly lol. You can RS even the cheap stuff for more if you know what to get. like the current plot people rushed for weapons like no tommorow and I probally camped 6 shops and made maybe 300k in about 2hours just flipping stuff and spamming boards tongue.gif Anything consumable is a good investment especially fairy quest items or food quest items. also the 3rd of the month ALL shops(cept tower) lower thier default prices in half. If you have a couple hundred k put away you can invest it then and release the items in the second week of the month to effectivly double your money.

Half price day is an awesome way to get some fast Neopoints. Generally most items that aren't profitable with their normal prices in the shops will turn over a few hundred NP profit if you RS them on the 3rd. Books are especially nice for this. <3

I do sponsor links every other day. That gets me about 30-50k.... then I try to do some minor restocking but since I stink at it it's no good for me. XD

Okay cheers guys biggrin.gif. I'll have to try my hand at the restocking game again, though I'm generally poo at it. Bought some shares today too, so I'll get that going, I think maybe I'll focus on stocks for a bit.

I've only been on neo for about 3 months, and I've already become a millionaire. Thought it would be a huge deal when I hit that point, but when it wasn't I blew about 3/4 of it on lab ray, collectables, avvie stuff, etc. I'd say about half of those points came from games. I use the same guide page that's posted above....the score ratio is listed (and updated) there, and that's what is important to know what games to play to get the most points in the least time.

The other half being from restocking. I use the SSW- makes for some huge profits at times, and much easier restocking.

There are some really big shops charging ungodly amounts for everyday items, and I'm assuming that it pays well because the big shops are owned by successful neopians.
But I've found that keeping prices competitive makes for much more profit for a smaller shop, turning over stuff for the space wink.gif .

I went for the packrat avvie right off, and that helped alot. It took me about 2 weeks to get it, but I had an sdb full of stuff to stock with and price to sell, made lots quick.

I wrote a mini guide about legitimate Neoplaying (or mostly legit!) and there's a link to it in my siggy. happy.gif;;

I used to be completely legitimate for the longest time, and I ended up with about 8 million neopoints after playing for maybe six months. Then I forgot all about neopets for a while....

And then I got frozen without even having cheated. unsure.gif

I don't care so much anymore, so I've already gotten back a few million on my new account. MWAHAHAHAHA. There'd be more if I wasn't you know, spending it. XD

Playing Neoquest can get you lots of np especially nq2. If you beat in on the hardest difficulty you can get a weapon that is worth over 4million. You can also get some good weapons on the other difficulties too. It is really fun to play too unlike the other neopets games that get boring fast. Once you get the hang of it its a lot of fun. here is a guide you can use that has maps so u can beat even faster. http://www.digifort.com/idnq/

I have never been good at restocking either and i got board with most of the games. and as said in the last post, the plots can make you lots of np. some of the items are worth a lot.

I'd say befriending rich players is also a very profitable line of work wink.gif For example... back when Lee played, I did him a few favours getting him some avatars and in return he bought me nice things happy.gif

It also pays to do plots as they can pay off if you do them properly. Playing word challenges while playing your daily games could work too if you're good enough to win world challenge maps.

bare minimum WC pieces go for is 10k @ a max of 3 a day a set easily goes for 400k it gos up on map 2 and map 3 as the prizes are the best. You have to be in the top 10% of players at a game to even stand a chance to be successfull though. Fortunately since I play the games so often I have had the luck of converting a few maps for PB's smile.gif

okay, now you're all just talking about things I don't understand. What are world challanges? What's this about maps and converting them to paint brushes? D= So confused!!

Also dragonlady, you mentioned that you use SSW to make huge profit sometimes, what's that? D=

Sorry, I feel like such a noob, I guess I am one really, but I don't wanna be!! tongue.gif

Also @ Tasty: I'll so totally look into your legit guide, I've seen it linked there but figured it was a cheaty one so never clicked hehe tongue.gif.

Also thanks to everyone for all the responces, I have read them all and aside from the bits I don't quite understand you've all been very helpful biggrin.gif. Though I don't half feel like a noob now for not really knowing this stuff myself hehe tongue.gif.

I don't know what a word challenge is either, so don't feel bad. happy.gif;;

But the SSW is the Super Shop Wizard which you can get if you're premium. It shows you the cheapest item that you search for in all of neopia... so you can snipe things. Like, say someone has a One Dubloon Coin in their shop for 100 np, if you see it in your SSW Search, you can quickly buy it and sell it for around 3000 np. XD

Good profit, if you ask me. XD

Nah, it's not cheaty. You could use it if you cheat too, but... happy.gif;; It's just a massive collection of things to click plus a How Much do I Save section in case you have a specific goal.

World challenges are a select few popular games from each map of neopia and run for an hour. Winners are given pieces to a map for each win maximum of 3x a day total.each world has 3 maps and each map has 20 pieces. and yes you get alot of rare petpets,petpetpet pb's and pb's.

SSW is Super Shop Wizard this is a premium feature. It allows you to check the absolute lowest price of an item in user shops.

Looking back, I made 1 million in a little over 3 months. Of course, I don't do as much on the site to make money as most other people, but I think a million in three months is pretty good. I pretty much play games and do the mystery picture. smile.gif
