When you give birth the placenta also falls out too The placenta could have by that time come out therefore no cutting is needed as the baby would have been attached to the placenta. This is called the third stage of birth. You guys do have good points though. However I just want to know if she's had more children. The birth would have been easier if she's had multiple children already which is... quite common in India.
edit: huh.. would you look at that. 11000 posts.

Having fun... in the bathroom?
I'm with Ange on this one. She probably didn't even know she was in labor. :\

Placenta dosn't fall out if i remember correctly (though i was under some heavy meds lol) that you still need to have a little effort to push out the placenta thus why a lot of people call it the "after birth" because you are pushing out more! Sorry males I dout you wanted to hear that XD

Well, if the baby popped out as easy as it says, I doubt the placenta would have been much trouble for an encore.

Yeah you still gotta push but it's possible that she was still doing that. I find it rather sad that no one heard her in the toilet. Could have prevented a lot.

Both make great points! Either way the baby is doing good as we know I just hope the mothers story is true for the baby's sake when its time for her to go home
