All life is contrained however by social engineering and dynamics. Whether you like it or not. The only people truly free, are those free both culturally and socially from these ideas. Or, well, those with sociopathic disorders.

I like this answer.

"Only when you lose everything are you free to do anything"

Clearly we should travel back in time and shoot a T-Rex. I'm only suggesting this because I've never read a short story about that topic. blink.gif

Didn't they have to stay on a certain path, else they would mess up time? Then they did, because they're stupid assholes? tongue.gif

Yup, and he took one step off of the path on accident, and killed something. As a result, some bitch wins the election back in the future. I think that is how it goes. blink.gif

Oh... I... did see a movie based on that I think. It was a butterfly and that's all it was. I think in the movie it was changed though because they came back and the time machine company was all Japanese and they were like WTF.

I think its a famous short story, called A Sound of Thunder. Not to be confused with Tom Cruise's Days of Thunder.

Donnie Darko is the best timetravel/alternatereality film ever.
No question.

And if you disagree, it's because you didn't get it.
Duh.

Have to agree with that, one of the best movies ive seen, and the "mad world" song is the perfect song for the movie.

Director's Cut is even better -- I watch this movie at least once a month.
