on the other hand dealing with fire in a safe and sensible way is not likely to result in getting burnt

dealing with fire can never be safe, you're always in danger.....though you might not see it.
You can try methods that lessen the chances of you being in harm's way with fire, but you can never eliminate the chance you will get burnt or damage some other property.

Kids are great.

Kids are also extremely expensive and require a lot of time to take care of them.
