All four of her eyes open and close at the same time.

She can feed through one mouth and suck her thumb with the other. At first you think it must have something to do with a parasitic twin but apparantly it is just a condition that duplicates facial features (apart from the ears in this case)

It's not like she has had to fight to survive or anything tongue.gif. She can survive just fine in her current condition....hence the lack of urgency to operate on her.

I'm saying that a baby born like that is a miracle. It's a miracle that she's alive.

I would say neither is true.
The girl is a biological accident, and her survival doesn't appear to be miraculous... she seems just fine.
Little is known about her exact condition, so no one can really say for sure how likely her survival was at all.

Still, the parents must be appreciating all the gifts the little "goddess" is recieving.

Is it me or does this kind of thing seem to happen a lot in India?

I suppose it may just be that when it does happen, they are hailed as re-incarnated gods....which is obviously going to attract attention.

Wow, that looks weird... what on earth is that in the middle of her face? A second belly button?

When I first read your thread title earlier I automatically assumed it would be somewhere in India, because that's where we always hear about it happening.

Same. I still remember that little girl born with 4 extra limbs. It looked kind of cool in an odd way.

Looks like a miniature belly in the middle of her face. Complete with bellybutton.

Tragic.

Why you all thought it would be in india is because a 3 armed baby was also born in india and all weird mutations now make you think of india.

Since when does a child being born have to be a struggle to live to be a miracle?

Is it not enough that new life was created?

It was four arms and four legs actually....but yes you are probably right about that being the reason we instantly think of India.

Wasn't there something about a woman on a train taking a dump and just randomly had her baby, too?
Was that India??

Well, I guess when she goes to school, people would have a legit reason to call her "Four-Eyes". blink.gif

Wow, that's quite something. Hopefully she's treated...eventually. Just how the article was worded made it sound like the parents had no intension of ever taking her into the doctors. 1we8.gif

And Nick, it's not just you. I've noticed it as well. tongue.gif

I wouldn't consider it a miracle if I was born with 2 faces. I'd rather have one. I wonder which face they're gonna keep. Have to get rid of that second belly/face button of course.

Do you even know what fetishist means?
I think you'd be hard pressed to find two-faced-baby fetishists even on the internet.
