Will Smith is a great actor, and I'm hoping he'll win an Oscar before his career is over. The MIB films are really fun to watch. I like Hitch too. I actually found pursuit of happyness very emotional and he was the perfect actor to fill the role. I wasn't saw keen on the "I Am Legend" but I think he delivered his part very well.

I think Will Smith is a fairly decent actor, depending on the role he's given. I loved him in Independence Day. He delivered lines I can't see anyone else pulling off. "Now that's what I call a close encounter." Lolwhat.

I tend to prefer him in the comedic or action roles too... typically because those films are more lighthearted and fun. I used to watch him on BelAir, and I just associate him with fun. So, if I'm going to a film and he's in it I expect there to be f u n and notsomuch tearful sobbing. But he's not a bad actor, by any means.

Who do I consider a bad actor? Let me think... Paul Walker. I think Paul Walker's a bad actor. XD

You can't really blame him for that though. He just does what the script says.

Well I wouldn't except it's happened more in movies with him in it than I've seen any other actor for some odd reason. I am Legend is also pretty horrible. The whole opening scene is a commercial for Manhattan ford... I've only seen one other movie with advertising that bad which didn't have Smith in it and that was Mr. Deeds with the Wendy's scene.

He has the image for being a rapper but not sure about the ability.

I'm not really into rap, but I do respect him a lot since he doesn't curse or talk about things that would be inappropriate for even young children to listen to. Not all rappers are vulgar, but there certainly are a lot out there and in the late 90s it was a somewhat refreshing change. I think he said in an interview that he would never rap something he wouldn't want his children to listen to.

Has anyone seen 'Six Degrees of Separation'? Watch this film and you will know that Will Smith is an excellent actor unfortunately some of his role choices have been questionable but he can do comedy and drama very well and there is only handful of actors you can say that about.

Who gives a shit? So he worships a scifi writer. I think Stephen King is pretty cool and nobody is throwing stones at me. I guess he's an alright actor, never saw I am legend though, if he still acts like the fresh prince then its prolly not acting
