He deserves to be in more comedic roles, instead of serious.

No matter... after finding out he's a scientologist he's pretty much lost any appeal he had.
He's not a scientologist, I seem to recall him saying that he's a christian (yes, i know that's almost as bad ).
As for acting, I don't think he's particularly good in serious roles but he's pretty good in comedy/action roles. Having said that he was also pretty good in I am legend and that was slightly serious, though it was mostly actiony.

I think his range of acting roles disguises how good he actually is. One minute you see him being the funny guy and the next he is doing something serious that requires him to display great depth in the role he plays.
One of my favourite actors for sure.

But anyway, I think he's quite a good actor. He's one of the few actors who can play both funny and serious very well. He was hilarious in the Men in Black movies, moving in The Pursuit of Happyness (the 'y' isn't a mistake, that's actually the official movie title), and fantastic in I Am Legend especially. He was the only actor in that movie for the large majority of the film. To make a great performance when you're practically alone in each scene shows how great he is. He will definitely win an Oscar one day no doubt.
EDIT: RAWR Joe. RAWR.

That is how I spelt it originally . The edit to my post was to change the spelling. Whoops.

How dare you try to make it look like I would say something like that. Clearly I wasn't in the movie. Do you see 'I' in my post? No. You clearly see 'He'.
Trying to sabotage my posts just because it's almost 2am and I'm tired. HOW DARE YOU!!

Anyone seen the trailer for the new Will Smith movie? Looks pretty funny. It's going to be one of his more light hearted roles in recent times .

I enjoy his movies, though I wouldn't say they're cinematic masterpieces. He tends to play the anti-hero role quite well (I Am Legend and I, Robot, especially).
