I have a built in wireless card in my computer so I can connect to the internet where there is cell phone service. Its a Verizon Wireless card, however, under device manager, it is listed as a "Dell Wireless 1390 mini WLAN card." The card is manufactured by Broadcom. I have gone to verizon, and they said go to dell. I want to Micro Center (a local tech store) and they said to go to Verizon. I am leaning towards just calling Dell and explaining my problem, and praying they dont tell me to go to Verizon. Does anyone have any hints or tips as to what that error means? (micro center said it was a software issue, relating to verizon and supposedly they should have a CD for me or something.)
I have been to the Novatel website, and its not much help. By random google search, I found out that the file missing from a certain folder is called "loader.dll" and it has come up in virus searches as malware. Does anyone think they can find this file for me and show me where to put it? I think this is my problem! My Anti-Virus software deleted the file needed to run the utility!
I have even been to the official VZAccess Manager website, and they dont have my computer listed (all they have Lenevo, Toshiba, and Panasonic), so I cant download the "official" software from the Verizon Site.
