So the other day I'm walking into the Women's bathroom and I see a guy coming out of it holding holding a bucket of cleaning water, two spray bottles and like 4 rags...

[note: sorry for this very very long msg, but make sure you read the whole thing lol]
It's hell depending on what stream you take lol
and also a note: High school averages... mean NOTHING! I know people with high school averages 90+ and they're failing their programs
while i know high school averages 90+ are aceing
and i know high school averages 90+ are doing adequate
so... the point is... you just need to work for it, some students think just because they have high grades in high school means they're smart and not work. That's just an idiotic thinking.
Ontario (which I didn't get my high school education from) doesn't have standardized exams (unless you do IB exams). so in my opinion, high school averages is just bullshit - might not be the case for all, but i'm sure some students can pay their way to get good high school averages =\
anyway...
like most life sci who goes to UofT, majority of them wants to get to med school
but... probably 1% of them get in? lol (well maybe more than 1%, but i'm sure a LARGE majority of them don't)
so... yeah, depends on what stream
And once you start life sci, it's really basic in the first year, and then you decide in the second year
Take my gf for example, she took life sci first year, then now she's psychology specialist -> and wants to get into psychology research specialist in 3th year
Take a friend of mine for example, she took life sci first year (or first 2 years, i'm not sure) --> then she opted for Pharmacy
so it reallllly depends on what you're planning to get out of your life sci
A lot of programs are hard in their own way, so I guess you just need to have a goal for yourself
but let's say you take... something like... geography major and maths minor, i'm pretty sure that will be a lot easier than something like pharmacy
'cus for me, I'm also opting for Accounting Specialist + probably a Major in Economics as well, it might be harder than if you're planning to just get a degree from commerce and take random courses like Marketing (no offense to marketing-people here, but there's really no point taking marketing undergrad.... it's a lot better off if you take economics and finance undergrad, and get an MBA in marketing or smth, plus, even if you get great grades in marketing, and another gets great grades in economics, people will hire a person with great economics for their marketing manager)...
but it depends on your goal
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about UofT in general (i.e. what colleges/res are good, n other relevant stuff to UofT)
I might not be able to help you a lot on life sci course selections, since I'm not even on the program, but I could give you tips here and there for general uses
lol sry to take over the topic like this just PM me, so we won't keep stealing tetiel's topic xD
ANYWAY ON TOPIC:
I hate UofT =.=;; HAHA
I just did my course selection, and there were sooo many 3rd year courses that was full even BEFORE the 3rd year enrollment date (meaning all 4th year took over it)
that's just so stupid =.=;;

You can't do that. Occasionally there's this lady who always comes up with her dogs and tries to do that but I think there's a legal issue there being dangerous or some shit

Appreciate the tips man.
Beginning of gr.12 I really felt I could make it as a doctor. Thing is I have a problem where I tend to do things last minute. That shit ended me up with a 80 avg and now I have to take a summer school upgrade just to make sure I aint dropped to another program. Im really scared that I wont be able to change my study habits and I'll get raped plus lose $$.
Realistically, yeah unless I somehow end up getting ridiculous high marks, I'll probably be going into something else. I was thinking pharmaceuticals if I stay with the science major or I guess something business. Right now Im already having to take atleast 2 bios, chem and calc + optional during first sem. FUCK ME.
Probably gonna make hidden facebook study groups? You'll get that if you live in toronto.

And if you have quite a heavy asthma like me, it's another challenge to overcome. And it may not be easy for other people. Actually it's quite tough for the majority as it takes endurance, body strength, and high inspirations. And the number one factor is time. When you have children, work, make dinner, etc. it's tough to find time to actually exercise.

it is all simple
unless you are sick and the sickness is directly affecting your weight or appetite, just eat less. your body is taking in more food than it needs, so put less into it

I also hate people that spk leek dis. Especially when they use that kind of speech and the word is just as long, or longer then the original. Its not that hard to speak properly and type things out how they where meant to be spelled. It keeps me from reading your sentence 12 times trying to make sense of it, and it gains you a free 100 iq points, what you type will change that, but its a good start.
I also hate people who just copy and pate their code onto myspace, and you end up with thousands of links and banners all over the place, and you cant even click on home to go back away from the page, then they start blaring music at you from 4-5 different players, and you cant even understand what they are saying. Seriously, 5 minutes of html lessons will teach you to recognize <img> so you can put just that their.

Agreed. ^^
I hate it when people write the same blatant lines on myspace "I'm not your average/ you'll never find a person like me/ I'm unique/ special blahblahblah.. Because at the end of the day, everyone's different init? You can't really judge someone on their 'about me' section on their myspace/facebook etc. You gotta see it to believe it.
I also don't believe in crying over the past, upset over something that cannot be changed. Keep it moving, just stay focused on what's to come instead of what has been left behind.

People who are fat, but claim that they have an eating disorder. Why cant people just take responsibility for the fact that they let themselves get this way, instead of having doctors come up with new diseases that cause you to way 250 pounds? And none of this bullshit about metabolism either, Metabolism is determined by your body temperature, and since all humans have the same average temperature, you all have the same metabolism rate. I went from 138 pounds this summer, to 130 pounds, and all I did was eat, play wow, and sleep. Take responsibility for your actions, blaming it on something else is just means for you to continue to pick up weight, you say you cant help it, and thus you do nothing to stop it. Denal is your worst enemy.
Well, My 12 pack of hateorade is just about completed, I'm feeling a bit tipsy so I'll go and sleep it off, then return with more stuff to hate about.

No, that was just stupidity.
I have people who create themselves to be different, online and in real life. Its like they have to act like they are original, or unique, and yet they use the same tactics as every other person in the entire planet.

I think the fact that you're impossibly lazy and still lost weight while many others would have gained weight makes you incorrect about metabolism.
