I'm in the land of the singles sadly, though I much prefer being single then being with my ex, so I guess I shouldn't moan .

Just curious, but do you have any children?

yes I have two from him. I cant have anymore as I have had my tubes tied. The kids are kept unaware of anything .. when I go out, or he goes out it is just a night out with friends. Nothing is seen that is unconventional. We have had roomates (sometimes sexual) live with us in the past.. it works out well for us. It actually gave us more freedom to spend time together, as there was always a babysitter we could trust.
The only thing stressful about it is recently with Diabetes, he can no longer function sexually, which makes him much more jealous when I find a 'playmate'. We have been married for 8 years and had dated 5 years before that.

That is awesome.. That you two have that understanding. Me and my ex-wife was in a simuliar relationship. It honestly takes the whole jealousy out of it.

Yeah, I've been wondering more and more about relationships like this. I guess I'm new to relationships, so I've just been hearing about stuff like this. It seems like something thats a bit of an acquired taste, but very cool. More later.

It happens more than what people are led to believe. Its kind of a little underground that once you become open/swing you can spot others out in a sec. Now I only float 1 way but she was total bi.
I tell you this though... If you or your "other" is even the slightest bit jealous....Dont even try it...
We were both very confident of ourselves, our sexuality and most importantly in our relationship.
I know its not for everyone and yes the "realist" and "purist" will state....."You took a vow" yes your right... But dont judge til you try....

I don't think I'm ready for it now, but perhaps later I'll give it a try. I think I'm still too jealous of my partner, and she would probably be jealous of me. Meh. Its just something to think about.
