(hello again, btw... tongue.gif)

been kinda out of it lately. sorry for that. life, work, relationships, and all that shit. bleh

but ANYWAY.. i'm sitting here at the computer, and on a whim i start going through my old song files that i recorded like YEARS ago... we're talking like, 5, 6, 7 years ago... and DAMN. not only is the quality shockingly low, but in some songs i sound like a completely different person! XD

but yeah, it's just interesting to go through old stuff and realize just how much you've changed and got better at the things you do, y'know?

i dunno, you guys save anything old of yours and do the same?

I save all my stuff just for this reason. It's truly something else to realize how much of a noob you once were tongue.gif. I realize it every day sad.gif. And then I try to figure out how much of a noob I am right now sad.gif.

I'll visit old forums and look through the archives to humble myself. Uh, I save all my poetry and writings. It'll be interesting to look back to these things in five, ten years.

Yea man this is so true, sometimes i go back and pick up old projects of mine from up to 6 years ago and i'm like "what the hell is this shit? fuck that!" and redo the whole thing lol. One awesome thing i did a few weeks ago was go through my primary school stuff. I found spelling books and drawings and poems etc that i'd done back then and i was just like "wow... this is so awesome!". I literally almost cried when i saw some of the drawings i made for my mum and my hamster and stuff it's like WOW I REMEMBER DOING THOSE AND I THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME AND IT STILL FREAKIN IS! But yea, lol, maybe i got a little too enthusiastic. I have all my exercise books from through school as well, sometimes when i go into the attic i read through some of them, the main content is usually boring but all the doodles are quite entertaining!

Never throw these things away. At the moment they never seem like they are valuable, but after some time, the become invaluable smile.gif.

Yea. You guys still keep essays and shit from your first few grades in school? Its funny as hell to dig up stuff like that years later, and realize how innocent we once were years back.

Journals and diaries make good bookmarks as well. I can't believe I used to collect Hello Kitty stickers >_>

Yesterday I went through my closet to clean it and I found stuff I did in 1999. smile.gif I had a little journal and random drawings of my parents and tons of different things. xD

And then I had graded papers from school and stuff.
