Well, my mother's funeral is tomorrow. I don't really feel like talking, so all I'm going to say is I hope my mother is happy in the afterlife.

Her Obituary.

I'm so sorry. You'll pull through, because I'm sure your mother was strong, and would want you to be the same way. smile.gif

That's terrible, 49 is so young sad.gif

I can't say with any honesty that I wish her good life in the "afterlife" since I don't believe in any of that nonsense, but best of luck to you and your family.

Very sorry to hear about your loss Stepoo. sad.gif I just want you to know that I've experienced a lot of the feelings you may have about not having a parent around, and that if you ever do feel like talking, just send me a PM. Just keep friends and family close in this very troubling time. sad.gif I found that later on, it was beneficial in the grieving process to reflect on their past achievements and listen to stories about the past from relatives, so maybe you will find this beneficial too.

That's horrible. And I can't even get close to what you're feeling, because losing a father or mother must be a really hard thing. A friend of mine lost her mother too, I don't know the age, but this friend was very sad...
If there's an afterlife (That I believe there is), I hope she's happy wherever she is and probably will be watching for you and your family...

Exactly. The best thing you can do is listen to stories that truly showed who she was from other people. I had relatively the same thing with my uncle, considering my dad was always at work and I stayed with my uncle a lot. He passed away when I was 12.

Sorry for your loss Stepoo, I feel ya man =[

What's with everyone trying to get emotional support from a bunch of strangers on the internet? I don't want to seem heartless but honestly you should be talking to real-life people about these kinds of situations.

I am sorry for your loss though, I'm sure you two were very close.

That was about heartless. People have different ways with dealing things. Some people ring hotlines, some people post on the internet, and some talk to their families. Some do a bit of each.

Ste I'm very sorry for you loss. If you need to talk hit me up on PM, and I'll talk with you.

Dude, that's fucking low. I never asked anyone here for any emotional support. All I wanted to do was inform people of my mother's passing.

I'm sure it's always hard losing a close one if your family, especially one that has looked over you all your life. I have never lost someone so close to me. My great grand mother died, but I never met her. So I don't know how it feels. Hang in there! I hope all is well.

Low? I don't know what was so low about it. I tried to make it as sensitive as possible and still get my point across. And in case you missed it I did say I felt sorry for your loss.

Also it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to inform everyone about it and say you don't feel like talking about it.

Be quiet. You're acting beyond insensitive right now - argue anywhere else but here.

I guess I shouldn't continue. It's pretty obvious everyone here is an emotional knapsack that can't handle a fucking opinion unless it pleases them.
