I have a question though....I've heard that you automatically get restock banned after you buy 10+ items on one restock (example: pharmacy restocks..you buy 5 eggs 5 soaps) but I obviously know that you can buy more than 10 things a day, I'm just talking about 10+ things in ONE single restock. Anyone know if that rumor is true?

I honestly think its true because I've gotten rs banned after I bought quite a few books (legit) so I'm going to go ahead and think its true, just didn't know if anyone else heard or thought any different

You'd have to be pretty good to get 10 things worth buying in one restock lol, especially since you get a 5 second stall after each buy.

I have gotten restock banned before, when i didn't get much of anything before (like 2k max worth of items) Just because i was hitting refresh too much. I think that being banned is somewhat "random" because like I said, I've gotten rs banned for just clicking a tad fast, but not getting anything that great.....

RS Ban is just based off how often you refresh and how long for, it's just a script and doesn't alert them to anything, so RS ban really doesn't matter.

The signal your buyer sends and teh signal you'd send with your browser is different. Once you draw attention your done. luckly i made a new account that didn't get froze. it's almost 2 months so im done with buyers.i'll stick to firefoxs image block and macros. those effect the signalyou recieve.not the one sent.much safer.

If your ABer is set up correctly there should be no difference between your browser and your autobuyer (remember they're both programs, if they both send the same details, how can neopets tell them apart?). Further to that you might just be using a custom / lesser known browser, which is no reason to get frozen.

If the book shop restocks REALLY good...its possible...I've gotten close to 10 things before (not saying they were all ub or anything)

pandora uses firefox right? does a different version firefox send something different? if there is no difference, how could the tell if your using one when your rs rate and haggle time is all human like?

Well, personally i don't think they watch how long you sit there for or how fast you refresh. I don't even think they measure how long it takes you to buy something. I think the main reason people get iced is because they get a lot of good stuff in a short space of time, which draws staff attention and then they might look at you more closely. If they actually monitored everyones playing habits it would be a huge amount of data to store and take an insane amount of time for them to check everyone individually.. i just can't see that being the case.

And people do get greedy.. it's just very suspicious seeing people doing inhuman things.. and draws unwanted attention from tnt.

This is true. If you run your AB too fast or on multiple accounts at once with the same IP it may set off alarm bells *shrug*

Well.. i dunno what pandora is but yes different versions of firefox send different things. The point is you can just copy one of these versions for the autobuyer and whaddya know, the autobuyer looks like firefox. If they could detect you using an autobuyer, they would just auto freeze you with a script.

lol you were obviously doing something wrong then.. i've got 4 accounts RSing at pharm with one going at all times for the past 2 weeks, with at least 1 mil on each account. I will probably get iced eventually, but meh i don't really have much use for the NP anyway

lol i don't have any techniques i just use the preset options and stick it on till it gets banned I don't login the account whilst it's going and i always sell stuff as quick as possible.. and if i'm gonna run more than once at a time i run one through a proxy.

I was running it on 3-6 int, never got rs banned and was selling shit like hot cakes. I was though checking in and stocking shop while aber was running. Maybe that was it.....Shucks.

Plus why is everybody asking for 4+ month accounts?

After 4 months you can buy items of any rarity, before that you can only see stuff not really worth buying (at least before 1 month).
