They say it resembles a racoon, but that's the most i can make out of what there saying. Do they actually state its a racoon.

Nah, the premise is a little obscure. The photo was handed down twice before it was shown on the news. But the raccoon theory makes a lot of sense. A marine creature would at least have webbed feet and at least fins or something for steering.

I think it was dead, when it washed up. Probally just a racoon, but it's been decomposed to where you can't tell what it is anymore or it really does look like that and its the MONTAUK MONSTER.

Its not that we haven't found them yet or something. But evolution is still going on... so i wouldn't be surprised if it were actually a new species or something
