http://www.foxnews.c...,395294,00.html A picture of something washing up on shore, don't know if it's true or not. Pretty interesting that something like that would wash up on shore.

Some are saying now, it was an animal experiment gone wrong, probally a dog or something. Who knows though now that the body of the thing is gone.

Speculation immediately arose that it might be a hitherto unknown marine mammal, a sea turtle without its shell, an artful Photoshop creation or — cue the " X-Files" theme — an escaped experiment from the government animal-disease research facility on Plum Island, just offshore from Montauk.

This was my first thought before I read the story. I used to live out in the hamptons on long island and every so often stories would get out about that place. They do some damn strange testing and research out there. O.o

Dama, that is weird.....I'm going with experiment. Some kind of cross breeding experiment.

Looks a little too elaborate for a photoshop....saying that though, anything is possible with photoshop tongue.gif.

I dunno what it is... the raccoon thing does make a lot of since though... if only there was a scale of some sort so we could see how big it is.

They said it was speculation where it went. Apparently a guy picked it up. I heard on the news that scientists got a hold of it and are currently testing to see what kind of animal it is.

Well I'm don't think it's photoshop cause CNN interviewed the lady who took the pic. Then they interviewed the group of guys who apparently took the body. Here's the vid:

I'm personally going with the raccoon theory. tongue.gif

Ah ok.. definitely not photoshop, then. I thought it was 'cause it seemed kind of blurry. Anyways, I think it's safe to say racoon.
