In fact, Aston is expected to build just 77 of these highly sculptural beasts. And it is a beast. The exceptionally short press release announcing it may kick off all arty - "the stunning new One-77; the ultimate creative interpretation of the renowned British marque" - but there's no escaping the potency of a 7.0-litre V12.
Although it's not yet clear exactly how much power the One-77 will deploy, Aston already gets over 600bhp from its current generation 6.0-litre V12, so this car is going to be genuinely epic. Especially as it's constructed from flyweight aluminium body panels, fitted snugly over an all-new "sophisticated carbon fibre chassis".

Considering I'm generally a fan of Astons I'm not really liking the look of the One-77.
