Does seeing someone smoking(bogeys/'rettes) make you like the person of opposite sex more or less?

Personally I think its nasty when I see girls I know smoke. I unno but its just the history of my family with smoking that has me totally turned off by the action of it. I dont get bothered by the smoke itself but to me its unattractive.

There are some girls that can pull it off. If a girl chooses to smoke, more power to her. Actually to me it shows a bit of independence and willing to break out of male chauvinist norms imposed on them.

I vote sexy, because it's oftentimes very possible. Overtime, not so much.

My two female cousins, age 20 and 27 smoke, I asked them why they smoke, one said "because everyone does it" the other said "i dont know, its just a habit"

I have no problem with men smoking, because men are suppose to be more rugged and unrefined....
I guess it comes down to preference, I can't really justify why a girl shouldn't smoke other than my own taste. There are guys out there who dig the chicks who smoke or curse a lot, its not in my taste.

Mayne I'm trying to quit the shit, lol. I've read so many references to tobacco today that I'm going crazy. Reading "Long Time Gone" got my mind off of it, until everytime he brings up lighting his cuban cigarettes and working in the tobacco fields.

Yes exactly, most people who blaze are more open minded in my opinion. But I know this one girl who smokes weed everyday mainly 'cause she's "hooked"

I hate the smell, I hate the colour it turns your teeth, I hate the health implications, hate the cost, hate the fact that most people that get into smoking have done so through peer pressure in their teens and they pushed past those first few fags that taste like shit to then become addicted.

You're forgetting the fact some of them made the conscious decision to start smoking. You might just be missing the chance to get to know someone who you might actually like.

Yeah I'm sure some of them did, but a lot of them it comes from peer pressure or the fact that their parents did or whatever, well, from around my area anyways, can't speak for the whole world of course . And anyway, I do have friends that smoke, it's not that I avoid all smokers, I mean my dad smokes, it's just that I hate it, would never do it myself and certainly would never get into a relationship with someone that did.

I picked 'disgusting' for one because I can't stand the smell of the breath and hands and clothes afterwards. Not to mention the nasty lungs that come with it.

But I also picked the last choice because Chris does it and he doesn't do it AROUND me. He goes outside and makes sure I'm not around. He still smells after though.
