Ugh. So it's the middle of the night here and I'm sitting on my bed with my laptop when out of the corner of my eye I see something crawling up my arm. I jump about a foot in the air, hit my arm and cower in the corner of the room for a couple of minutes. I then realise that because it's the middle of the night I have glasses on instead of my usual contact lenses and so my peripheral vision is practically non existent and it's quite possible that I've imagined this spider. Which has not stopped me from changing all my bedding and my clothes just in case.

Stupid spiders. Or possibly not.

Discuss how rubbish spiders are, why this is a very good reason for not napping all afternoon with the window wide open, how I really need lenses that I can sleep in without destroying my eyes and how it's really annoying when your eyes play tricks on you.

I have witnessed these imaginary spiders before and they are horrible. I hate real spiders as well.

When I used to live with my family, my sister would quite frequently wake me up at any time of the night to come upstairs and kill a spider for her. One time she pulled out hair spray and starting spraying the damn thing, then continued on and sprayed me straight in the face.

Lets just say, I went back to sleep and left her with it.

I had that crap happent o me once, but the thing was it was a real spider. It scared the shit out of me, I stayed out a few hours after that, thinking another spider was gonna crawl up.

ROFL...I've done the same thing. If I see a huge spider (which 99% of the time they are outside...they are not safe anywhere if I see them) I'll spray it with a flammable liquid and then set it on fire. Thankfully I've never set my place on fire...lol.

You know they say that in a year an average person eats like 5 spiders when their sleeping.

Only thing I ever see is like fruit flies and their pretty rare. Though a couple weeks ago I saw this huge fucking earwig or some shit crawling on the door and it freaked me out. Gave it a good stomping.

When i was at primary school this dude came along with what he called a "bug box". Basically he brought loads of insects and stuff in seperate containers and let them loose on the class. He brought in a tarantula and let us hold it, was super cool! All the girls were freaking out man it was hilarious xD

I don't really mind them as long as they're not on me.

Luckily I've never had any contact with 'ClockSpider' but I'd guess that the answer to your question would be, children and other comparably sized organisms.

Thanks, ClockSPider just ruined my appetite, and I have the best pizza in the world waiting for me. (Old Chicago's Double Deckeroni).

But yes, spiders, real, imagined, even fleetingly thought of, can all die a swift death. happy.gif

Now wait a minute y'all. Spiders unlike some other creepy crawlies have a purpose. They eat the other nasty disease spreading bugs like mosquitos. Granted, the poisonous ones are to be respected, but otherwise, it's just people's irrational fears that give them a bad reputation.

Holy shit spiders scare me. My boyfriend always jokes about how I'm going to give him a heart attack one day alerting him of a spider. We live in the woods and get grass spiders in our house a lot, and unfortunately, they only feel the need to come out at like 1am XD And if I'm the first to see it then it's not a warning "OMG Spider." it's a "AHHHHH! SPIIIIIDDDEEERRR!!! -run-" My boyfriend is just as funny though, if he sees a bug of any sorts he'll just get up and run as fast as possible, not saying anything, and just leaving me behind lolol. I've programmed it in my brain that anytime he makes a sudden run, I must follow or my life is in danger rofl.
