I know that we have a lot of fun discussing LPC but this is going to be a bit more serious...

I just wanted to really take a moment and wish everyone who may be in the path of this hurricane the best of luck. I know I am not alone when I say that all of use here at codex are wishing you, your families and friends the best of luck and we all hope this is all over soon. I have been through too many of these in Florida and they are no fun.

im not anywhere near the storms path, but i was put on alert for clean up and repair duty, so i will unfortuanately have to see the aftermath.  good luck to everyone in the path, be safe, and if you are able to, get out of there

Saw the 6pm (it's now just past 9pm here) News report over here and they were saying they were expecting the Hurricane to hit in the next hour, hope everyone stays safe and everything .

Ah yes, this has definitely been a bad year for South and Central America, I sincerely hope that everyone in Gustav's path makes it out okay. Most likely evac will work
