So I hear the little gmail notifier sound telling me I got mail.. click it.. oh, it's some bs from last.fm.. so I did what I always do.. select it and click mark as read.

But why?

I just realized I don't like deleting messages.. it's like some sort of ocd caused by me thinking I might need to look back at them.. but let's be honest.. of course I'll never have to.

OK.. so, I think I should probably delete my messages from now on.

It does look cleaner after all.

do you guys delete your messages or just let them rot?

Gmail has so much room.
No need to delete.

I have a thousand in my PM box here, a few hundred in Gmail (not spam, it gets deleted) and 60 or so in the school mail. School mail is limited to 100 emails though :\

I used to have thousands in my inbox because it got too messy for me to bother looking for important ones. Now I have gmail I just click it/mark as read.

OCD has totally lost it's meaning these days.

I hate when I pour a drink and it spills over the top because it leaves a wet patch on the table. ZOMG OCD!! Is there a doctor in the house?

Ahah, true tongue.gif

So I just checked.. 886 messages in my gmail.. but I'll leave those there. I deleted my hotmail messages, though.. didn't catch how many, but it was pretty much just hundreds of facebook stuff that accumulated over 2 years.

Tbh, all email hosters should rename "Inbox" to "Automated message container" tongue.gif

"You are currently using 43 MB (0%) of your 7165 MB."
There's really no point in deleting anything in my gmail account when I haven't even broke 1% yet. tongue.gif

My PM box is 34% full though, and I can store 10,000 messages. Again, no point in deleting, at least for a while. tongue.gif

When I get the chance, put mail in designated folder. If it's important then I download the folder and delete the e-mails. Otherwise everything in the trash.
