Yea I was just thinking that, hard to have contests and other stuff cause most people only have characters on a few servers so how could you give gold as rewards But most people that we would get would be from whatever server we advertise on so it wouldn't be that big of a problem.. Then as it gets bigger we'd get more members from all different servers.
And having it now wouldn't hurt, codex has such little activity at the moment that the few members codex has already that play would help.

Certainly wouldn't hurt

It would bring alot of new people in, especially if we got some guides up for different classes and things.

That doesn't even make sense
LPC brought in tons of members that weren't already active on Codex.

Which part didn't make sense?
Perhaps I was unclear, I think that people that are only playing WoW won't stick to a community with a small board dedicated to WoW, however, I think that people that played some of the other games with boards here too may decide to stick around.

A lot of members here don't play any of the games at all.

Is hard to bring in WOW members here because most of them are already bound by the official WOW site's forum.

I know that I play WoW a lot. I also no I would never come to Codex to ask questions about WoW, I already have forums for that. Codex would just be a place to talk about it. And that gets boring after a while.

It was basically the only forum for LPC that actually had help files. Also, we had a lot of high ranking players in the Codex gang, so when they RAPED people, they said 'come to codex for LPC help'.
Its a good advertising technique. Codex can't offer that for WoW.

C'mon man, are you seriously comparing WoW to LPC? WoW has official forums that are plastered with members aswel as an unlimited amount of dedicated fan sites. LPC is a small text-based game played mostly by chavs that wish they had the balls to do that kind of damage in real life. We're the best they have

Technically we can There are always guilds well known, for example MoX on my horde server or To Be Continued on my Alliance server. If Codex created a guild of that standard, I guarantee you wouldn't be able to handle the amount of members you got.
