You try to log in but get handed a very empty page telling you your account has been frozen. Nothing you can do.

I've never gotten mine frozen before, and I just want to know what to expect when/if they ever do. Any advice/stories to share?
umm it just randomly happens. you find you were logged out when you were logged in on your computer. you try to log back in and it says, you have been frozen....
GREAT.

Never been frozen? Lucky guy.
Well, it isn't the end of the world. I don't know anyone that got a IP ban first time for fairly minor offenses, so there's nothing stopping you from restarting.

I've only gotten my account back from being iced once... It was a year and a half ago... And it took a month. . Basically they just ask you a bunch of questions to prove that it is your account...

i got back an account that i hadn't logged into in maybe like 4 years...it was my first account. It wasn't iced or anything, i just didn't know the birthday for it. Curse my early noob days, there wasn't anything of value on it

Odds are unlikely. I remembered the password to my almost one year inactive account, but it required a birthday from me. I guess a birth date is mandatory from such a long period of inactivity, but i put in a fake one and couldn't remember. I used that account recovery form but not even then did they return my account! Unless you have some impressive forms of proof that the account is yours, then maybe.
