a pointless rant that maybe you guys can relate to

i mean this is totally pointless but i need to vent it out cause its like rawr omg wtf
so i work right?
and i get my own money without my parents
and my parents get all anal if i spend my money
there like 'omg you have spending problems blehblahbleh'
and im like i usually save half of what i get anyway
and i cant even buy clothes without them telling me off ffs
i buy a shirt and my mom says 'you'll leave it there and never wear it again' (which isn't true)
i buy a game and my dad goes 'what a waste of money watch next time you get a game your just gonna leave this one there' (which isnt true either)
so they want me to save all my money
and never spend any
until im like 45

They probably want you to save it so you can start a course on making quality burritos. I know how you feel though. My mom always used to nag at me saying I'm spending too much and will never use what I buy. Usually though that's true after a week.

So what do they say when you spend it on weed?
I mean I've dropped at least 70 on alcohol in the last few weeks tongue.gif

You think you got it bad? Hah!

Try spending money when your parents know you'll spend it all on weed.

Never smoke marijuana everyday..

Turns in to a habit that's hard to kick, believe me.

Not smoking weed will definitely keep you and your parents on good terms.

I started having problems with mine once they found out I smoke weed and they don't even know fuck all about it.

Take a quick contrast into other people's situation. They pay for your clothes, food, rent, water, computer bills, tv licenses and so forth, and whilst under their roof you do what they say. You only get more independence when you move or are forced out.

My parents asked me how much money I've sunk into my car. It took a while to tally it up, but when I told them they just rolled their eyes and walked out of the garage. It's the first and last time they've asked how much I spend.

My mom is the same way but she offers to buy my stuff instead. So she gives me some cash but I buy all the expensive shit myself.

Well even though I don't live with my mom she STILL asks what I spend my money on. Its a parent thing to do...just gotta take a deep breath and let it go.

I spend money on very few things. I use most things I spend on profusely. So yeah.
