Part I: Knowing what your aber is capable of and deciding...

Credit to Sunnyneo Site for their article used in part I

Recommended shops
This chapter is to help restockers with different kinds of experience to find themselves a shop suitable to restock at. Not all shops are added, these are only a few suggestions.

--Beginner--
These shops have a nice, slow pace to them, although they are not always the most profitable. I recommend you only use these to practice your skill, as you wont make a lot of neopoints in these shops.
- Book shop
- Food shop
- Bakery
- Petpet Supplies
- Pharmacy
- Tropical Food Shop
- Chocolate

--Confident--
These shops are for the average restocker. These shops restock fairly often, and have a lively pace to them. At times these shops can be very busy, but even the master restockers tend to use these as a secondary shop to restock in.
- Spooky Foods
- Pharmacy
- Gardening
- Pizzaroo
- Grooming Parlour
- Unis Clothing
- Collectable Card Shop
- Fresh Smoothies
- Gift Shop

--Very Confident--
These shops are incredibly lively, and too hard for the majority of the users. Due to the fact these shops restock valuable items, they tend to have a slower pace and restock only a few times per half hour, possibly 7 times.
- Plushie Shop
- Toy Shop
- Furniture
- Post Office
- Collectable Sea Shells
- Petpet Shop
- Robopet Shop
- Faerieland Petpets
- Wintery Petpets
- Kayla's Potions
- Legendary Petpets

--Master Restocker--
These shops are ONLY for the restocker who is INCREDIBLY fast. The profit gained from these shops is huge if you focus and manage to get something every other restock. The majority of items that restock in these shops are UB's. Due to the impressive profit to be made in these shops, they take the longest time to restock, possibly once per hour. These shops also only restock 1 or 2 items per round, so unless your incredibly skilled and lucky, your going to get frustrated in these.
- Magic Shop
- Defense Magic
- Battle Magic
- Collectable Coin Shop
- Wonderous Weaponry
- Royal Potionary
- The Scrollery
- Exquisite Ambrosia
- Words of Antiquity

--Long Time Shops--
These shops aren't really hard, they restock junk most of the time, but IF they do restock something good, it's ka-ching, jackpot! These shops require a lot of patience. Also, it's not even sure that when you see the 'jackpot item', you will get a chance to buy it. It's at your own risk, you could either get rich and make millions, or you will be refreshing like mad and wasting your time not making any profit at all.
- Magic Marvels
- Brightvale Armoury
- Merifoods

Part II: Refresh Rates and How Much You Buy (My Own writing)

As you know, refreshing too fast results in a restock ban, whereas you cannot see any items in any non-player shops for some amount of time. Setting it too low will result in a restock ban and setting it too high might result in you missing out on restock opportunities. Play Around with it on a dummy (not main) account and see which one suits your internet connection and computer speed smile.gif.

The same applies to how fast you buy items. If you buy a morphing potion in <0.1 seconds, you can say hello to a quick freeze. I would recommend AT LEAST 1 second to be on the safe side..

Another thing to consider is how frequently you buy very rare items. If they check your logs and see that you bought a rarity 90+ item every freaking restock, most likely it will result in a freeze. To be safe, some might suggest that you only buy one rarity 90+ item a day.

Honestly the fewer the safer, but again this is your preference. The more frequently you obtain high rarity items per day, the greater the chance of freezing (ESPECIALLY WITH MAGIC SHOP ITEMS).

Part III: Habits

There are a lot of ways you can give red flags that you are abing.

Although this might be common sense to some, mimicking a typical neopets user lowers your freeze rate GREATLY.

Most people aren't going to refresh after a restock. The wisest thing you can do is to stop your aber after a restock and do something like look at your shop, play games etc.

Also, keep track of how long you play everyday.
If you play 5 hours a day and all of a sudden it shoots up to 18 or something, you either are using an aber or you have developed insomnia and neopets addiction.

Lastly, flamboyant accounts (e.g. custom graphics in your username, shop, etc) make it seem less likely that you are using an aber. Most abers are just shell accounts with some np on it that transfer to the main. If you make it seem like you are just a restocker that is really quick, you might get away or reduce your chances of being frozen.

My logic from this comes from the fact that many quick legit restockers have reported being frozen. Therefore, i believe their detection system may just be based on timing and frequency..

that's all i might update this if i have anything else to say.

update: fixed some spelling errors etc and removed the price earned per shop since that applies to legit players smile.gif

Great guide! After looking at your guide I realized that my main account that has been open for years pretty much looks like a shell. Completely devoid of any decoration. I need to fix that.

That's cool! I am totally bookmarking this guide :D This is probably why only restocking at like stamp for 15 minutes almost never gets anything. So yeah, thanks a lot for this guide

Abrosia works better, I tried to do it legitimately but either the people out there are WAY too quick or everyone else is using ABers too.

Usually after a restock ban... don't just log out and shut down your comp. Surf the webs and play some games...
This will probably fool TNT that you are actually playing all the while =\
correct me if i'm wron

Was there a need to capitalize everything? Ah well, but I agree with you. I do semi-legit restocking as well, though I'm a little lazy nowadays.

Lots of stuff I already knew, but I never tire reading peoples opinion on magic and those kinds of shops (hopes for perfect buy times that won't create an consequent ice storm)

I really dont think its a possibility, to have perfect buy times in magic, actually Ab items there and not get frozen.

Too many autobuyers run there every day, and most of them have unlegit settings that get the item at unreal speeds. Those accounts get frozen, and we miss out on the items.

All in all, Magic isn't all that great, You need to get lucky to get a MP there, and if you do your taking a giant risk of being iced. Not to mention that most MP's are HTS, and that you could most likelly get more ETS profit from a different shop.
