I'm pretty sure they both did well at the box office (so neither of them were THAT bad) and personally I think Snakes on a Plane was awesome.

No, I'm pretty sure he was shown as more of a teen then. Maybe I'm wrong but I do recall the dragonball series when Goku wasn't shown as a kid, instead a bit taller and more teen like.

I remember them saying he was around 13 or so, during the actual anime.

It depends which Piccolo it is. In the video you posted, I'm pretty sure that's Piccolo Jr. Which was made after King Piccolo was killed by Goku. King Piccolo spit out an egg after he died and he was reincarnated to Piccolo Jr., which is the Piccolo that we see in DBZ+.

Judging by the movie, I think that's King Piccolo.
