Not just any doctor. A doctor knowledgeable in all areas. In fact, I'm not going to go to medical school or anything like that. I'm just gona read a bunch of medical books and when discourse is appropriate I'll put in my educated, uncertified opinion. Or when someone is having a heart attack at the restaraunt, I'll save his life, and then get the key to the city and become famous, and in the process lose my families values and probably because a pathetic alcoholic wreck.

What book should I read to begin? I dont know where to start.

You could always examine the summaries of medical school courses listed on university websites and try as best as you can to replicate the course outcomes by getting the textbook or finding similar material.

Although I think you will run into some problems when it comes to practical laboratories unless of course you can obtain a job assisting at a medical school.

lol well.. there are alot of self help or educational books out there. First thing is learn about torrents and download any book that sounds remotely interesting and dedicate your life to only reading those.
But why be a doctor by reading when you can be a professional coder and make programs for the world. I think youd be helping more people doing that than saving one dude in a restaurant.
