In an effort to try out a new way of communication on the board, we (the newly reformed administration team) have reintroduced Internet Relay Chat to the site.
For those unfamiliar with IRC: It's a chat room for Neocodex.
Just visit this link: http://www.neocodex....php?act=ircchat (or click "Web Chat" at the top of the board)
If you want to use your own client:
Server: irc.freenode.net
Port: 6667 (typical one)
Channel: #neocodex
Also, go bother Invision Power Services intensely so that they can release IPB 3.0 and I can help make our site look better. They said "two weeks or so" two weeks ago, so go figure.
(please do not bother IPS, they'll probably cancel our account with them or something, haha)

Lastly, it feels good to be back. I won't mention for how long it will be though.
We had a LONG meeting and that's how it happened. Just expect some good shit to come. I'll try not to disappoint this time.

EDIT: Before someone comes up with "Yeah, SL, IRC is cool but we have bigger problems to worry about.", I say this: This is probably the only thing I can tell you guys until we actually finish planning and building the other stuff. Use the IRC to communicate with people in the meantime or something.
