Last that I knew, Ange wasn't Staff, but she still gets assigned tasks. Also, Sarah was just a filler, Tet was the only active leader. Besides Fox, but I wasn't really around for that.Last that I knew, Steph was not the current Graphics Leader, in fact it was Sarah

Touché!
I used to be most active in GFX because i was a photoshop fiend lol. I can help with sig requests and what not, maybe help draw more attention to the section. like help beginners with where to start, post links to certain tuts, and what not. Just some ideas, anyone feel free to join in. We can also talk about guild layouts/user lookups etc for neopets itself and not just art in the forum or non neopets arts or something (I saw someones pokemon art here which was good :] )

Definitely. There are ways around that though .Noit has been pushing for neo graphics for some time and it was consistently and categorically rejected every time because of the fatal flaw that using graphics that have come from a neopet cheating site infers those users have been to a cheating site and can therefore be frozen without question.

But people will use it .Neo graphics fail. It's copying images, throwing bitdust two over it, some scanlines and limited HTML and BAM.

We never tested it out. We'll see this time around. This will probably scare people from using it but we have our members showing off their skills in a gallery that's themed after the subject of this site. Kind of like deviant art.Noit has been pushing for neo graphics for some time and it was consistently and categorically rejected every time because of the fatal flaw that using graphics that have come from a neopet cheating site infers those users have been to a cheating site and can therefore be frozen without question.
I think easier thing are the more we see. We'll see we need to test this.Neo graphics fail. It's copying images, throwing bitdust two over it, some scanlines and limited HTML and BAM.
I don't think Neopets goes around taking note of the graphics come from which websites and then ice. Hopefully we can get some testers. And I like the ideas floating around about how this will be done. Can't wait to testBut people will use it .
Magma I think we'll have a leader in place by the end of this weekend. We'll have her in charge of everything as we're busy with other stuff.

Whatever happened to drawing by hand? Photoshop requires zero skill,
collaging photos requires even less skill.
And here I thought all along that because I had no artistic talent when it came to drawings that I would be no good at GFX... look at me being naive

All the best artists and designers start off with sketches, with
good reason . Tired of hearing about "hobby" as an excuse to not know
how to draw shit by hand.
Not targeted at anyone here obviously.
I really don't think your comment has anything to do with this thread. It is about what is being done to get the graphics section active again, not what should be included in the graphics section. Take your pessimistic comments elsewhere. It's depressing.

well Chan, there is a reason the graphic section is called Graphics. Not just Art. We need a combination of both to be able to keep the section alive.Whatever happened to drawing by hand? Photoshop requires zero skill,
collaging photos requires even less skill.

There's noI'm not being pessimistic lol, I just say shit and forget about what
I say, people who take shit seriously though, outta be really pessimistic.
---
In terms of "Graphics", I've said this before, it refers to not just
photoshop, but basically every type of "Graphical" piece if you will. Meaning
that photoshop, is basically less than 10% of the equation.
You can even make "GFX" on other programs, or guess what? by hand.
---
Better called the Photoshop Collage section to fit your description.
need to put 'Graphics'
in quotations. You're the
only one that has difficulty
comprehending a slang term. I'm
not going to say: What's up with all
my "niggas", where my "playas" at. You
shouldn't do that either. It makes you look
stupid not more intelligent. Any program you
use on the internet is going to be a graphical
work of art. Why? Because all programs use mathematical
expressions to represent a visual image, that's how computer
art works. Any piece of visual representation produced on the computer
is graphical. The section is properly titled, your flawed views and stubbornness
are the things that make you feel differently. The only thing you've posted
in the graphic section is photoshop, and some stupid 3d model that you
refused to take criticism on because you "weren't finished" with
everything that was critiqued. Right now, you're in school
and still learning. (Hopefully) You'll come to the
realization that you've just been an arrogant
prick and maybe the rest of the people
have a point. This isn't science,
being different doesn't make
you cool, it just makes
you look like an
asshat.

The whole purpose of University is to broaden the mind. Shouldn't I take any comment seriously, if only with a grain of salt? After all, how am I going to progress in my learning if I assume every comment is said in a jocular fashion?Too hard to read, didn't read.
See the point of shaping rags is that it's easier to read,
you completely missed the point hahaha. I think its hilarious that
you're in university and still take shit people say seriously.

Cool, you roll with that attitude. Just hope your future clients and bosses have that same mentality.Maybe that's how you view it, but I don't take anything random people say seriously.
I've said this before, I just say some shit and forget about it cuz that's just how I roll.
"Oh I said I'd use your layout? I just said that shit and forgot"
"Oh, I said I'd give you a promotion? I forgot."
This argument is like France invading Russia. You come into it thinking you're right, trying to invade on my shit cause you're Napoleon. But fuck, I just let nature's course take care of things and you end up surrendering like a little bitch eventually.
