This is just a warning to refrain from posting direct links to Neopets until we get the anonymizer running. We have disabled all posting of neopets.com urls as well. Websites keep track of where outside users came from, and Neocodex will certainly land on this list if we keep using direct links.
They have a particular dislike for Neocodex and they have shown this in the past (often with no legitimate reason since many among us are legit Neo users), and so this is for your own protection.
For the program users:
We've also just discovered that if you are importing cookies from your browser in our programs, any outside referers are being stored in the cookies.... which means you're sending them a history of where you came from on every page load. So if you clicked a link on codex that led you to neopets, this will be in the cookies until you reset your cookies. This does not affect people manually logging into our programs, only people importing login settings from Firefox/IE. We're currently working on versions that will scrub neocodex.us out of the cookies for your safety.
(There has been no knowledge of anyone being frozen in this fashion yet, but may as well be cautious.)
