That's the first thing I checked. But the program doesn't even have an option for that.
it happens occasionally on feeds, don't know why : (

Other than that, i've manage to keep it working.

I've been using this program for some time now and although I've had some quirks I'm going to try to answer your questions the best I can.

1. The program purchases the item like normal, so at one point or another it's going to appear in your inventory.
2. I believe DB stands for deposit box in this case. If you've purchased an item and missed the Kad, the program will put the item in your SDB.
3. You cannot SDB feed--either you Shop Wiz feed or the program uses NeoCodex's Item Database to find the item for you.
4. I doubt it would let you purchase an item if your inventory was full--it'd probably give you an error. Like normal Kad feeding, just make sure your inventory has room.
5. The feeder does not check items in your inventory. Like I said in 3, you are pretty much Shop Wiz feeding (either through Neopet's Shop Wiz or NeoCodex's Item DB).

Hope that helps!

Completely wrong.

The program works in three stages

It checks your inventory and tries to feed

It checks your sdb and tries to feed

Then it uses the database or the shopwizard

It also collects a list of all of your items before hand, to make sdb searching much faster.

And finally, just wanted to thank the programmers ( i think jcrboy and iargue coded this?) for spending so much time and energy developing these programs and sharing with everyone :]

Jcrboy has coded nothing at all for this site.

He just beta tests things for us.

For some reason, kad feeder isn't working very well for me. When it starts to buy items from shop wiz, it gets glitchy. It used to work perfectly when it was by itself.

The program works like magic for me. I LOVEEE you for this. Wouldn't have been able to feed 1 kad on my own but with this, I managed to feed more than 20. Won't be long before I get the avatar. Thanks again ^^ Btw, is there a reason why the feeder sometimes syncs the time wrongly? Like it calls for mains @ wrong times & then goes Item too expensive when the time runs out... & then continues to feed at the wrong time.O_o Happens to me occasionally.

EDIT: It's working now (:

my Kad feeder is having some errors lately.

Then you should report said bugs here so the programmers know about said errors.

^ I get that too.
Also, what is it better to buy from? Shop wiz or Item DB?

Item DB is constantly updated, it's always better to go from there.

I prefer Item Database.

I've fed 3x Kads so far and I started about 5 days ago. Sometimes the sync will get messed up, but then it gives me a chance to be sporadic with the feeding times. Other than that, this program is simply amazing.

I'm veeery new to auto feeding, did it on my own before, but wasn't good enough. Aaand I want the avatar.

Just interested, if I leave the default settings for the auto feeder it should run normally & without suspicion (what I mean is, it doesn't refresh too often etc.)
What actually interested me the most was the "Refresh between 1 and 1.5 seconds". Is this the best option, what exactly does it refresh, should I change it to smth else?

Yes, don't worry too much about that. The Kad Feeder is networked, which means it syncs Kad main times and only refreshes between 1 and 1.5 seconds when it has to (like to check if Kads are hungry). It's safe. You can change the value if you want, but that will decrease your chance of actually feeding a Kad.

And use item DB option, it's perfect and I've already fed a bunch of Kads like that. 10k maximum should be fine - actually, the default settings are awesome. The only thing I change is like to only feed 2/3 Kads every time I run the program and then stop. You don't want to feed too many in a day or people might get suspicious.

Thanks and awesome program Iargue. Got 75 kads in less than 3 days, only missing 2 feeds according to the logs and only losing ~45k for the food, and my active getting boochied.

I would love to use this more, but I haven't been able to feed a single kad yet. It keeps giving me a error (I made a bug report).

Im pretty sure the timer that it goes off of is wrong, as I have been having issues with it for the last few days and it was fine before. Can someone look into it?

I noticed that today too! It kept refreshing even though the kads reset. Seemed like it was off by a minute. (Kads were supposed to reset at :13, feeder didn't refresh till :14) There was no error message or anything, it was almost as if the feeder never even saw the reset.
