I know everyone will have alot of candidates for this, I know I do.

But just list a few, for us to read aswell.

I really loved 1984, although I would have to say

The Magus by John Fowles is the best book I have read in a while.

I liked "The coins of Judas" by Scott McBain or "Lucky Man" by Michael J. Fox.

This is a tough one.

I'd have to say "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King. I love his horror books. My dad got me into 'em...as he has every book of his ever written. He's crazy like that X3

Probably either Nineteen Eighty-Four or Lord of the Flies. Of Mice and Men would be up there too.

Brave New World or 1984. I guess I like Brave New World a bit more than 1984. It's close though.

I never got to enjoy of Mice And Men/Lord of the Flies because it was a class-book so naturally I was told by 10 people how it ended before I even picked it up. Damn school ruining books :(

I really enjoyed Handmaid's Tale. Of course, I always enjoy anything from the Ender's Game series the most. I suppose Xenocyde out of all of those books since it had a special meaning for me

It's interesting how Nineteen eighty-four has come up three times xD

Some good choices here, Keep em coming, hoping to find a book I haven't read lol.

The Brothers Karamazov and Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevsky.

Then there would be Foam of the Daze (Boris Vian) and the Dune series (Frank Herbert).

I really like john irving and read all of his books. I cannot decide wich one I like best. One of the best books I ever read is 'A long way down' by Nick Hornby.

I don't read many books, but I guess 1984 was the most interesting out of the ones I've read. Animal Farm was also not too bad.

I read 1984 and animal farm, too, terrific books!

Angels and Demons was pretty cool, but I think I like Sakrileg most of Dan Browns books...

A Brave New World - Aldous Huxley

pick it up. NOW. (If you need a digital copy.... pm me)

No "a" in it. (sorry if that came off as me being really anal)

And if that's your favorite book (mine too :D), I'm guessing you've read some similar themed ones? In which case have anything you'd recommend? (besides 1984)

Looks like 1984 is def. a popular choice here X3

I just started reading the "Sharing Knife" series. If you like science-fiction type books...they're very good (at least to me so far) XD

The Vampire Armand by Anne Rice. 100% times better than that Twilight crap.
