On my oldest account (2 years old, nearly), I nearly beat a highscore. I was like 10 or 5 off it!
So frustrating!!

A couple of years ago I spent weeks trying to get the Staff Smasher game avatar. I scored 2249. The avatar score is 2250. I haven't played it since.

Even worse is when you get the score you're looking for, but mysteriously get

"An error occurred processing your score.........."

At which point the obscenities flashing through our heads would make a sailor blush.

On extreme potato counter If I got my guess right i'd have gotten the high score.
The number was 63.
I guessed 64
I was pretty pissed.

And it happens to me a lot, for example in World Challenge Kass Basher I had gotten 1185 twice, then some guy got the tree and won 3

Nope, never "nearly" beat a high score while playing legit. I can't even make it on the high score list, let alone even get close to beating one. The only time I ever made it on the list is when they reset the list each month.

I remembered. The only high score I got was castle of eliv thade on my old account. The back and forth is very time consuming though. You have to check with multiple anagram solver if you're doing legit.

I once spent three hours playing Eliv Thade with an anagram solver going back and forth and getting a legit high score of 5K... but there was a problem processing my score. Would've got the gold trophy legit.

Um... I beat the highscore on Extreme Potato counter several several times... But thats the only game I have tried for. The rest I cheat on

I once spent three hours playing Eliv Thade with an anagram solver going back and forth and getting a legit high score of 5K... but there was a problem processing my score. Would've got the gold trophy legit.

I got massive score once last year and... WTH! Lightning hits the electricty post and bang... while i was just about to send my score...

Why does this only seem to happen during really important games? Once I was playing Better Than You for Sutek's Tomb. I literally spent 4 hours playing, only to have that error come up after I tried to send my score. I wanted to cry. I've also missed out on a few game trophies because of errors.
