I meant more of like. They aren't actually going to be ready to assemble or have the technology to build one of these for years.
But who knows. I definitely want one !

it has already been built

I didn't think that could even exist, let alone be built.
This is amazing!

We already see some of these things at the university: cantilevers that detect certain molecules (as in the apple example in the video), organic LEDs in the production of low power flexible displays, etc.. Gotta love having the country's National Institute for Nanotechnology right in your backyard.
If I have my way... in about three years I can actually go work for Nokia, haha. Might need some experience working elsewhere first though.

I'm fully ready for this, though. Let's make this happen, technology gurus.

But for mass consumption, you have to take into account cost and knowledgeability...

Not to mention the tech support calls from people saying "This phone won't hold my money properly" or "I want a refund because my phone refuses to match my outfit"
Glad I got out of tech support before this hit the market....

I wonder if it will absorb sunlight while being used as a watch.. and I hope it plays mp3s through the earpiece. a phone that never loses battery.. imagine that..

This is obviously not going to be for people that have no idea how to work it. It's not like the government is forcing 95 year olds to get a digital converter box. I'm sure it'll take well over 10 years after it hits the tech market to even be CONSIDERED for general consumer production. Not to mention the tech support calls from people saying "This phone won't hold my money properly" or "I want a refund because my phone refuses to match my outfit"

I'm in the same scenario as Cam, though I'll most likely be dealing with all the aspects that aren't a part of the physical phone, moreso connections and what not through satellite.
