I have no idea what to do now for the next 2 weeks. I am staying at a lodge at a cancer centre for the friend that I am taking care of, and there is a couple computers here, however they do not have adobe flash, and I cannot play any games on here because any program I need I need to install, and the administrator has set the settings to disable of installing any programmings. This totally freaking sucks. 14 days, no cable, no decent internet, no cell phone, no friends (except the one I am with). And all around is a bunch of yarn and knitting needles
*Moans* What am I going to do for the next two weeks??

It's really not that bad once you learn. Time consuming. And you can pick up on ALL the ladies with that skill. Knit them a scarf, and you're in.

Ah, yes, I seem to be doing quite a bit of that today!
I hope that I can increase my post count with a lot of useful posts, so that I may become an advanced member in time.

I wish I could, but I am unable to because of this computer, Waser Lave thinks it is because of firewall, and I do not have administrative privileges to change it.

Why do you have limited power on your computer? If you're not the Admin, then it shouldn't be hard to get said person to install things for you or just have them grant you Administrative power for yourself. No, because I need the required neocodex files which requires some installation =(

It is not my computer, it is the Cancer Centres. Getting hold of the administrator of a hospital is not always that easy to do.

Well, it's obvious as to why you cannot do anything, the normal programs that one would use on a home computer is not installed on what that is located at a hospital, so unless you can get a hold of the Admin to download Java, then you cannot enter chat, nor can you use any of our programs. It is not my computer, it is the Cancer Centres. I managed to get java, only because of my portable firefox, but that is about it. I kinda knew from the beginning that I cant do anything, but at least I can post on the forums.
