just eat celery as a snack....you burn more calories chewing it then it actually contains.....plus sex burns lotza calories so get some excersise you can actually enjoy!!!


i eat nothing but junk and never put a single onze on....maybe thats the trick!!:sarcasm:

chewing celery does NOT burn more calories than it contains. DIGESTING celery burns more calories than it contains. Thus you still have to include the calorie content in your basal metabolic rate (10 calories for one cup, which is extremely minimal).

You should really read the first post.

I gained about 10 pounds. And I am unhappy about it. Now don't get me wrong... I am not saying that I am fat...In fact gaining weight has dramatically increased my bra size... which me and my bf are VERY happy about

lol YES! from what i've read women continue to develop their bodies until around 24? i think it's 22 or 23 for men. obviously you can still develop up until about your 40s, but noticeable developments up until those earlier times... do some chest excerises (like pushups, etc...) and you can probably focus the area a bit. lol

Okay, so maybe I gained more like 15 pounds. Because I definitely gained in other places..... lol and I wasn't really complaining. I just want my pants that I bought in August to fit me again... because they are the only pants I have and I can barely get them on.

There aren't any scales around here, and I don't have the money to buy one so I don't know exactly how much I've gained. (There is a broken scale in the gym... but Idk how to fix that one.) I was just guessing.... and trying to make myself feel better a little by making the number an even 10.

Okay.. so to start my explanation- last year at this time I wore a size 5/6 jeans.
And now I barely fit into a size 9.... Posted Image

I gained about 10 pounds. And I am unhappy about it. Now don't get me wrong... I am not saying that I am fat...In fact gaining weight has dramatically increased my bra size... which me and my bf are VERY happy about.... but I just want to fit into my pants again. Considering I only bought them like 4 months ago.

So as of right now my work out has consisted of ab exercises and leg exercises before I go to the gym and do as much cardio as I can which has turned out to be about 25 minutes on an elliptical.... going a pretty fast and at a steady rate. I get my heart rate to about 160-180 and I burn a good 200 calories each time...


Right now Id say I am around 140-143 pounds. I would like to be at 130-135lbs.

Is this a good workout for someone like me?? Im not wanting to build muscle... I just want to loose 10 pounds.
Its mostly belly fat and excess fat on my upper thighs that I need to loose.

also I have been trying to eat better too. I have been having sandwiches with a piece of fruit for lunch mostly.

I'd say find your optimal metabolic type. you can google metabolic type test and find a number of interrogation esque thing-a-ma-jigs that will point you the right way.

from there i reccomend eating, sleeping well, weight lifting, and swimming. swimming and weight lifting are great, and although weight lifting does get a bad rap for women, understand it doesnt make you a monster, if anything it helps you look like you're in shape and get you some extra strength. It also boosts your metabolism quite a bit.
