There's no need to be extreme but when it comes to leaving food that's warm out all night and then eating it the next morning cold [or even if you warm it up in the microwave or something like that] it's still dodgy.

If you've had food poisoning plenty of times before and built up some immunity towards it, go for it.

If it was THAT bad for you, I'd be long gone, considering how many times I've done that, why get up to stick it in the fridge when under the bed is fine?

No I am, I just slip the box under my bed and my friends and I snack on it when we wake up, nothing happened except our appetites were satisfied.

That's sketchy as man, seriously. How come you don't put it in the fridge? Can't be bothered?

So you're saying because we have an immune-system we should cut the precautionary measures?

Duh.

Obviously, you fail to understand how your immune system works. When your first born, for the first 6 months, your mothers immune system will protect your body, after that, you rely upon your own immune system. At this point, your immune system only has innate protection, which means that certain infections that immediately affect your body can be killed, but nothing else. The other part of your immune system must adapt to infections. This means your extremely invulnerable to new and deadly infections. This is where Vaccines do part of the business to protect your body, because it introduces your immune system to an infection that cant harm your body, and allows it to learn how to react. The other method of training your immune system is to introduce it to new infections, and allow it to fight for itself. After 2 years, this becomes a viable method.

Cleaning/Disinfecting things are a horrible ideal. They can kill 99.9% of germs, but what they dont explain is that that last .1% is a BADASS FUCKING VIRUS. Its tough enough to survive while all other cannot. Now, your immune system is exposed to just that strong virus, and none of the weaker, so all of the duplication/replication that occurs from that .1% are of the strongest form possible. This can end up killing alot of people.

Being dirty is a good thing sometimes.

You obviously misread that, he said that if we disinfect everything leaving just the strong virus behind, it could lead to death, but just going straight on instead of trying to make it "cleaner" could save lives because we are attacked by the weaker viruses first, letting our bodies build up a defense, this SAVING lives.

Well it appears you guys are just owning me now with your intellect so I'm going to stop trying to prove my point because I'm just making myself look like a dick. Kudos to you.

*edit* And yeah, I did miss-read that. I'm bookmarking the link & i'll give it a thorough read sometime.

obviously you guys don't drink enough beer. Pizza is pizza until it breaks your teeth when you bite into it.

Sources: Me, I consistently eat pizza thats like a week old cause we party at my friends house buy pizza, don't eat it all and next weekend, we start the process again, eating the old pizza and ordering new.

I'll admit that when I'm drunk I'm prepared to eat dodgy food like pizza that's been sitting out for hours and hours and hours but that's just 'cause I'm hungry and I have the "fuck making something" attitude going.

While I'm sober though I'd very rarely do anything like that 'cause it's full of bacteria. It's just unnecessary when I have a perfect fridge that will eliminate it.

I hate pizza so im being completely biased and just trying to make you not eat pizza.
That shits gross!
but white pizza is good sometimes :)
In my opinion, carne asada fries or a california burrito are the best things to eat when drinking, when im drunk, i tell food to GTFO.

BRO?

They dont have dirty little mexican joints in Australia?

And pizza is just, gross. I dont like the 'heaviness' of it. I guess its kinda hard to explain, or maybe i just dont like the sauce. I hate crust, so I always get thin crust or I put up with it and get STUFFED CRUST. Thats real good.

yeah 'bro' :shifty:

Nah we don't have that shit here. We just have basic crap like pizza places, maccas, hungry jacks and that sort of stuff. We don't have the hundreds / thousands of choices you guys get over there. :(

NO WAY D: thin is getting jipped. you can get thick for the same price and its like twice as much dough used on the pizza, its an epic filler. :D

the cheese stuffed crusts are alright but that shit gets gross after a while. i like to stick to the traditional thick meatlovers 'cause that shit is the bomb.

Bwahahahaha I never thought that McDonalds and Burger Kings have different names.
I wish we had more family type restaurants instead of all these fast food places. It gets old real quick.
and thin crust is win for me because i dont like eating alot unless im high, but even then ill eat carrots and ranch before anything else.
I wish I was vegan, but I like certain things too much.
I hate red meat like ground beef and steak though.
Except if its carne asada. om nom nom.

I just realized why everyone knows im from California D:

is it okay to leave pizza overnight without refrigerating it? i'm eating it for lunch tomorrow and it's 10pm right now. what do you guys think?

it is a cooked pizza right?

I have often left pizza in the box to eat the day after, some pizzas seem to improve by it. or maybe thats just hangovertalk. lol

as long as it has not touch a surface with traces of fresh food (cross-contamination) it is pretty much ok.
but it also depends on what the temperature is in the room and what toppings are on it.

Never store something with chicken in it without cold to help.

God this brings back memories from chef school and my GÁMES/HACCP and other seminars.. lol
