I collect the free aol disks ( I have like 20) and I was bored, so I added up my hours... I have 23,612 free hours, that's about 3.7 years of free AOL. ^_^ ^_^

AOL wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to use their proprietary browser..that thing has got to be the worst windows application ever.

I should start collecting those, then glue them to my bedroom wall. That would look awesome.

At a skating rink I went to they hung AOL disks on christmas lights on the ceiling. It was a great effect.

I've also seen where you can buy wallpaper that safely holds CDs like any other case.

If I ever move in with my best friend Elizabeth we'll have one room wallpapered with CDs and another pure white room called the Wonderwall room, and in it we will write any pretty lyrics, poems, or prose we desire. It will have a single white couch in it and maybe some books so you can sit and admire.

Isn't it HORRIBLE. I always end up insulting my friends because they all have AOL... and I go over to their house and try and fix a problem with their computers (undoubtably caused by AOL in the first place) and I practically go bananas when it automatically loads AOL when I switch on the computer... then it says 'Welcome to AOL'... and it has POPUPS that don't close and the browsers mini'mize of their own accord and I can never find the right buttons... :ranting:

The only good use for AOL disks is for wallpaper.

I hate AOL but the messanger is ok, but I have tons of free hours they should just give up because I am never going to try these silly programs even though I kept like 30 from over the years,  ;) junk collector :/

Guessing the Wonderwall room is a reference to Oasis?

EDIT: In my uncles computer store, on april fools day we made the place "rain" aol discs :roxsox: around 400 of em.

AOL is America Online (I belive), it's an ISP and helps you connect to the internet, although the browser is rubbish and the fees you pay are expensive, and not many people like AOL.

I tried cancelling once, and what a horrible experience it was...

I had to call 7 ti'mes because they wouldn't give up. They kept giving me free hours and free so-called "rebates"... Once they even hung up on me... :ban:
