Iron Man 2 wasn't too bad, but it just didn't have the charm that the first one did.
yeah, the first one was special, it had everything that was needed to make it great. In a way, IM2 lacked focus, it just seemed a little bit off when it came to the plot. Too much of everything wasn't a good thing.

The ending was the most anti-climatic thing ever, like the final fight lasted like seconds. really? -.-
Most of the movie was good until then though
My opinion exactly. I love Mickey Rourke in this movie and he was such a bad ass ... up until it took like two seconds to kill him. And really? If you were going to make the robots explode why would you bother adding the red lights and noise? If they had just spontaneously exploded with no warning he would have killed Iron Man. I mean, I guess Whiplash himself wouldn't have known that they were going to blow up if he hadn't put all that crap, but ... or wait, was it that they only exploded when Whiplash was dying because he set them off before he died? I'm thinking about this too much.
That part should have been more epic.

Then why the hell would the government steal a suit from one private company and give it to another private company.
The movie was so weird. The fights could have made up for it i mean that whip technology was insane!!! He was supposed to wreak havoc with that. But all he did was whip and hold, he should have more then one move... RAWR so upset.

I have not liked the movie, I found the character of Stark very futile, with great dialogs with nothing intelligent to say,
I am glad that you failed to grasp even the slightest bit of depth in the movie. Its okay, I guess. Just go and watch the big explosions. Leave the deeper meaning to others.

But the suitcase iron man was totally ballin'; I think it's the best part of the movie.
And yeah, like someone mentioned earlier, extremely anti-climatic ending.
And Micky Rourke's character... his armor/suit/weapon in the beginning was so unpractical... lol.
