I cannot stand whiny little girl singers like Paramour's singer, or Tori Amos or Sarah McLaughlin, Avril Levigne (spelling that wrong I'm sure). If a female singer can't rock out with a ballsy voice I can't listen to her.

What do I mean by ballsy? Here's some great examples:

I have a problem with the way Lady Gaga looks and presents herself, she comes out in the wierdest outfits and has like a thousand looks, none of which are actually good or great. Other then that, she is a great singer, its just the way she looks that drives me away from liking her.

Well they were obvious I love Joan Jett. IMO Lzzy Hale reminds me of Joan Jett's style of singing. I saw Patti Smith live when I was in college she kicks major ass! Same with Annie

Now we will have to agree to disagree on Lady Gaga. Her act isn't new. I lived through the '80s Madonna years and thats all she reminds me of. A copy of Madonna.

And I LIKE Amy Lee. She has some great talent. She may be a douche , egomaniac but the girl can sing.

I'm sorry to disagree but Hayley Williams has an absolutely amazing voice. Regardless of whether or not you enjoy her music, her voice is pretty fucking good. I don't know many 19 year olds that sound like this. (Or any for that matter =P)

Just because we want to see a female go out there and rock doesn't mean she needs a dick. I agree Hayley's voice is better live, but she still doesn't rock. What Cho's getting at is we're sick of little girls going out and being frilly little shits.
Honestly, I don't know WHAT to think of someone who is somewhat famous and popular and they posts a crappy video of themselves doing a circus version of a Lady Gaga song on YouTube, no matter how great her voice is. Just makes her look like a 14 year old.
