I'm pretty sure all you do is talk to people, collect items, play games and do quests. There may be more to it though, I only played it when it was in beta and I just walked around for like 20 minutes then said, fuck this and haven't played since.

I played petpet park once. I picked the petpet that looks like the creature from the black lagoon, and wandered around asking everyone, "Where am I?", "Should I be doing something?", "Where's the restroom?". That's my expierience with the game.

Think Wow... but in 2D and with cute anime characters... no monthly fee... but a cash shop that is practically mandatory.

To understand the cash shop idea, think about what would happen if the NC Shop provided an actual gameplay advantage on Neopets.

PetPetPark-Lame, get a petpet and walk around. No one plays it.

MapleStory-Little kiddie's coming from runescape with small anime characters and huge heads. Jump around, kill monsters, there's a cash shop which is basically the foundation of money making, little kids taking credit cards. You get the idea.

I had to do some investigating of my own...
Club Penguin is a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) involving a virtual world containing a range of online games and activities, developed by Club Penguin Entertainment (formerly New Horizon Interactive). Players use cartoon penguin-avatars and play in a winter-set virtual world. Apparently it is for people under the age of 14, it's owned by Disney now, and you can own 'Puffles'.

I wanted to join PetPetPark because I'm a sucker for cute things, and I think petpets are cuter than neopets...

But they don't have every petpet species available... and I heard the game was laggy and shitty... for what I heard the only interesting thing you can do is customize your petpet... but I fucking hate customization... I don't dress my cats, why should I dress my pixels?
