If you can appreciate the following things, you are a 90's kid:

- The huge popularity of Pokemon trading cards
- You can remember a time when you didn't own a computer, and getting access to the internet was the coolest thing ever
- You took a plastic cartoon lunch box to school.
- You've read 'Goosebumps'
- You can sing along to the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" theme song
- You always wanted to send in a tape to "America's Funniest Home Videos" but never did tape anything funny.
- You remember the Furby, and Pogs
- Captain Planet
- You remember how annoying it was to always have to rewind VHS tapes

Damn those were the days. :p I had a dream about elementary school and that's what spurred this on.

Name some cool 90's shit.

I remember when Dial-up was *almost* acceptable :p

-Tamagotchi (first gen.)

-Beanie Babies (briefly)

More will come, I'm sure.

Oh gawd. I still have some pogs. Along with Pokemon, I used to watch the X-Men and the Tick on Fox Kids. Can't tell you how much of my youth was spent in front of a television and VHS player. :p

I was in middle school in the 90's, and I remember everyone at school wearing long sleeved flannel shirts. I LIVE IN SOUTH TEXAS. Fucking grunge music and their depressing clothing. *shakes fist*

I have to admit though, I'm barely a "true" 90's kid (having been born in 1989). I missed a lot of the really early 90's stuff as a consequence of being too young, but the middle and later parts I remember fairly well.

I remember everyone wearing overalls back then. :p

Fido Dido was like everyone's role model in my country... we used to collect 7UP glasses to be cooler.

Also I still have my pokemon cards, sometimes I bug my boyfriend until he agrees to play with me :3

I remember the boom of electronic music and how much I hated it because I heard it in the radio all day long... Now I listen to electronic music all day and I enjoy it a lot.

Tamogotchis were way better than Pokemon imo. Did the yo-yo craze make it over the Atlantic?

Incidentally, I just picked up my old yo-yo this morning. Nothing serious, but that thing had a lot of good memories.

- The huge popularity of Pokemon trading cards (still got 'em)
- You can remember a time when you didn't own a computer, and getting access to the internet was the coolest thing ever (I went to the library to get on mud)
- You took a plastic cartoon lunch box to school. (I couldn't afford one)
- You've read 'Goosebumps' (lots)
- You can sing along to the "Fresh Price of Bel Air" theme song (never liked this show)
- You always wanted to send in a tape to "America's Funniest Home Videos" but never did tape anything funny. (back when Saget was the host and I couldn't afford a camcorder)
- You remember the Furby, and Pogs (couldn't afford a Furby, but had a shitton of pogs)
- Captain Planet (the power is YOURS)
- You remember how annoying it was to always have to rewind VHS tapes (also burning out the auto-rewinders)

I remember Full House being on constantly also. :p And Cheers, whatever that was (didn't care at the time).

Oh, and Family Matters! Steve Urkel was... strange.

(Back when Mary-Kate and Ashley weren't hoes!)

Out by me, pokemon survived most of the school year after they became huge, but tamagotchi got banned right off the bat.

LOL at my school it was tamogachi's and other electronics that got banned cause some kid forgot her portable cd player in the bathroom (we had a door in the classroom that led to a unisex bathroom) and assumed it was stolen.. (probably other similar problems but that was the only one I knew about, figures that the following christmas I finally got a tamagochi (from McDonalds/Burger King not sure which))
