Sign in with a Windows Live ID and say that you're an IT Worker and you can download it.

'Beyond the obvious bug fixes and security patches, we'll no doubt see support for the new USB 3.0 standard. Likewise, enhancements to the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stacks will be slipstreamed in, allowing Windows 7 to retain its mantle as the most easily configured version ever,' writes InfoWorld's Randall Kennedy. 'But perhaps the most significant "update" to come out of Service Pack 1 will be the fact that it exists at all, and that by delivering it to market Microsoft will be signaling that it is now OK for IT shops to pull the trigger on their Windows 7 deployments.'"

I can really tell that there are improvements to the wi-fi as I'm getting consistently higher bars with better speeds. :)
This is a beta so non-tech-savvy people should use at their own discretion.

I still cant go Win 7. Not enough processing power :(

Wow USB 3.0 is that just faster then 2.0 or what? Because I know only diff b/w 1.0 and 2.0 was a speed increase.

USB 3.0 allows a larger power supply for the device as well as unbelievable data transfer speeds (supposed to be faster than SATA)

It provided burst speed of 5Gbit/s and throughput of 4Gbit/s so after the overhead its usually 3.2Gbut/s. Sata is rated at 3Gbit/s and 6Gbit/s. So it might not be as fast as the newest sata definition, but it powers its own shit, which is important.

It's not like anything currently even utilizes the Sata 6Gbits sadly so is there anything that even utilizes the 5Gbits?

Just stating there are physical limitations to the latest SATA III technology and hoping USB devices would fare better. Most magnetic tape drives can't really use SATA III to the max potential yet and only SSD can really take advantage of it for the time being.
