College Board issues aside, I have fond memories oi TI-BASIC, writing in it a 3D graphing engine and a stock market analyzer. With enough patience, I could make anything ... but friends. (Although with my chatterbot experiments, I certainly tried.)

Haha we had a Palm 7. It had this antenna and then you can get net if you rasied it. It was later then 96 I think though. I was real excited.

But TI's yeah they're still 100 bucks. Not a fan of it. I never really had to use one. Did get one though I got an 89.

Wow, really? They certainly are expensive in most places. We are lucky here though, TI's here are around $30-$40 on average.
