It's better to buy used books since they cost so much but they try to screw people over by printing new editions every year or so just because people are buying used books. It's worse especially if you're taking some type of science related course since those textbooks usually rack up in the 200+ range. I usually spent like 300 per semester when I was in college...good thing I had a book grant.

mine are only looking like 300 this semester. One of my classses doesnt even require a text book, and its PHYSICS! whaa? ha ha but dang 700 thats pretty lame.
