Hey there everyone, I myself love neopets but am also a super big fan of POKEMON! So I wanted to start this thread to have some indepth conversations about the game/anime/memories as well as to chat about the upcoming Pokemon Black and White versions for the Nintendo DS! Due out in Japan this September.

One of the first topics I wanted to bring to attention is what kind of Eevee evolution would you like to have seen? What kinda of moves would it know? What would its name be? ect?

I remember years ago when I asked my mom for one of the pokemon games and she returned home with Dragon Warrior Monsters, a monster catching game with a breeding element to create a whole new speices, boasting a 350+ monster list.

At first I was annoyed because she had bought the wrong game, but since then I have played all the games in the DWM series (closely related to the Dragon Quest series and now have adopted the name and become Dragon Quest Monsters).

I think the games are amazing

That said I still went back to pokemon and loved them just as much,

Steel Eevee evolution, obv called Steelvee

Hrmm Dragon Monsters aye? I think I might look into it for ROM play especially with the breeding element. Steel is one of the types I would have like to see also, but Steelvee wouldn't be the name of choice personally. I think If i would see a Steel type I would name it Goldeon, make it gold, a precious metal. and have it learn Metal Claw and maybe some other moves. Might reply with an update on a moveset later.

If you are going to play one of the Dragon monsters game, I suggest playing Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker for the DS. Its amazing.

The only other Eevee variations you could have though are:
Flying
Poison
Ground
Rock
Bug
Dragon

or... if it evolved into a straight normal type again o.o;

Dragon would be super cool I think. Drageon or Drakeon would be the names Id choose. Ryueon?! Idk but deff what I'd want to rock on my team. Flying would be interesting since it would be the first ALL flying type Pokemon period. not sure...

I stopped playing right after crystal came out, so I don't have a single clue of pokemon beyond the first 251

Well except mudkips of course -- I heard you liek them?

Yea Im pretty sure Mudkips have the highest stats of all the starters by 1 point lol but Indeed it would be pretty odd. But then again many tattoos do look a bit odd when you get old...

I personally liked Yellow a lot, mainly because you got all three starters and the graphics were a big upgrade. Im uncertain as to my favorite Pokemon right now but I'd probably have to go with Arcanine.

From that game, Mudkip or Torchic, they both have the same base stats but the big differnces arise at weakness and resistances, mudkip amazingly has only 2, to grass and electricity, and has 4 resistances, whereas Torchic takes 3 weaknesses and 5 resistances.

However I fight Torchic to be much more powerful for the end game

all im hoping for is that there's more walls/tanks for the ou/uber tiers in black and white. currently there isn't that much choice in terms of walls/tanks in OU tier imo.

Ahh yea. well i wasted a great deal of my parents money on those cards lol but I had a pretty good fire deck too. My dad had a pretty beast fire/psychic deck. Now I play Magic the Gathering.

I loved pokemon up until silver/gold
after that I lost interest as they kept adding ridiculous amount of pokemon.
Which to be honest doesnt have the charisma as the original ones(OMO of course, before you all go in your pokemon rage)

I agree waka. After the first 251 tey got a bit meh. I did like the 3 gen quite a bit but 4th gen was just awful and 5th gen is looking like the worst yet.

I dont think anyone can hate mudkips.
If they say they do they are lying.
deep down they <3 them.
But seriously..the game needs an overhaul...if the nintendo 3D handheld is on par or more powerful than the gamecube(or was it N64..cant remember) they should be able to change the
horrible battle sequence..its the same shit since Yellow/Red/Blue era.

I just mainly did contests with my swampert
I've never gotten past Brock inside yellow version T.T Pikachus fail against rock/ground types and I was too lazy to train another pokemon

It'd be a completely different game though. The handheld Pokemon series > Stadium for a reason.
