My BF uses the same 2 towels, rotated, for the whole week. There always really, really stiff and scratchy. Then if I wash them on him, he notices and bitches. I guess it messes up his schedule or something?
I have a shit ton of towels though and I use one once, throw it on the floor as a mat and then wash it. I kinda fear mold too.....
Why do some people wash their bath towels?

When I get out of the shower, I'm the cleanest thing in my house. In theory, these towels should be getting cleaner every time they touch me.
Do you know what happens to towels as they sit there? They collect dust. Dust = dirty. So. You wash the towers so they are less dirty the next time you get out of your shower.
Also. We all know you touch yourself in the shower. Which isnt very clean....
