We usually eat out if it's their birthday. My treat or theirs. Or I buy something useful or a gift card.
I love my parents, they spoil(ed) me, so it's my turn to give back now that I'm older.

I haven't lived at home in a while so I don't see my parents daily anymore.

Just treating them to a meal is good enough I guess. Parents normally don't expect too much from their kids when it comes to these.

It was my mums birthday yesterday! I buy pressies and make a cake (by make i mean buy then ice it so it looks like i made it ^__^ ) Here is a pic of a cake i made my mum last year... Notice the questionable coloured "stuff" ...

We tend to do BBQ's/cookouts, then out camping and drinking , and every year the days after drinking we say we will never do that again, but end up doing it.

I didn't make the cake, it was the type you but to make a 3 tier wedding cake... But i did make the rudie bit lol its a swiss roll cut in half then i shaped some sponge for the end... and the balls are pure icing... Man those things were heavy! It tasted pretty damn good! LOL i have pics of my mum with her mouth open next to the cake i can't show though... she would kill me Wont even let me put it up on her facebook ha
